Bering Optics Rubicon Pro Waterproof Reflex Red Dot Sight W/Front Control Button, Black, BE50005

I use this on my taurus m66 with a picatinny rail. It holds up well with 38 spl. I haven't tried 357. The dot is small, and holds onto the aluminum picatinny rail without problems. The zero is adjusted by a screwdriver slot. The red dot has a plastic cover to protect it and prevent accidental activation of the red dot. It doesn't seem to have an auto-off feature.The dot seems to hold zero nicely. It has a simple on-off button. One push on and a long hold for off. My accuracy at 50ft has improved significantly with the dot, as I can use both eyes to see the target. The dot comes with an allen tool to lock the nut that holds onto the picatinny rail. The allen tool is worthless. You are better off with a socket or wrench to tighten.So far, it has worked reliably. I will update if I run into a problem.12/4/18 update: the sight seems to go off on its own, after shooting 38 special light loads on my revolver. The accuracy of the red dot is good. It holds zero even after 400 rounds. But the power off makes me a little worried that the unit won’t last a long time. I am deducting a star because of this. I will be contacting optics planet about the unit.
