Made in China. That should be enough for you to make your own decision of whether or not to buy these. Yes. They are cheap. Will they work? Yes. Will they last? I will update on that later. The drums come complete, however the shoes are a completely different thickness from each other. They will still work but if you run your brakes to the end one will surely last a lot longer than the other. One is about .050" thicker than the other.Bearings, seal, drums etc all made in china. So honestly, for the price. Its almost worth just having an extra set on the shelf for later.***Edit aug 2022 - 2 years later. Brakes are stilll working well have not removed drums to inspect but i got 2 years out of them so far, so that's something.

Brakes were easy to install. Funny that people complain about them being made in china. If you want to pay double get Dexter brakes. I say for the average “weekend warrior” these brakes are completely fine. They shipped fast, came with extra seals as couple were bent a little. Probably could be straightened. Overall i liked the kit.

Worked fine on my Lippert 5,200lb axles. Easy install if you’re mildly mechanic oriented, using standard tools and good quality bearing grease.Doesn’t come with nuts for the brake backing plate to mount to axle, no big deal as the local store had what I needed which is I n my case was 3/8-16.

The grease seals were not what I normally use. Everything else seem to be very satisfactory.

These were exact replacement components for my application. I replaced 4 assemblies total on 2 axles. No issues. I adjusted them and test drove with correct operating results. EZ job. Better than trying to source and replace rusted parts, magnets, shoes etc.

Fit perfectly, replaced on a 1985 5th wheel. Exact match. A little hard to put on since I had never done it before but went quickly once I figured it out.

After installing these new trailer brakes, my husband and I went on a couple trips. Less than 400 miles, on the return of the second trip, the right front trailer tire fell off the trailer while driving. When we got pulled over and took a look, we found the lug studs had sheared off. All six of them, all at the same place. We were very luck no one got hurt and it didn't cause an accident. My husband is in the process of replacing the lug studs in the remaining three hubs.
