The Best Castile Soap
I search Dr. Bronner’s because that’s the company I think for castile soap. I saw on Amazon that the Carolina Castile Soap was less expensive and had favorable reviews and with that I thought I’d give their variety pack a try. I am glad I did. Simply put, the soaps are great and are definitely comparable to Dr. Bronner’s. In fact I like Carolina’s Tea Tree and Lavender better than Bronner’s; I find the scents strong but not overpowering. Even more, I am not a fan of citrus soaps but I do like Carolina’s orange and use it for household cleaning. The volume of the bottles in the variety pack are generous and a little goes a long way. Lastly, I love the way the soap makes my skin feel. I have dry skin as a symptom of diabetes and nearly all soaps dry my skin out even more. The castile soap does not dry out my skin - It just makes it feel yummy. I shampoo with it too. I find the peppermint and tea tree be best for the hair and scalp.

Nice soaps. The smells aren't quite as powerful as Dr. Bronners, but are ever much as good. Ha svery tiny microsuds which make skin feel soft even when dry.The citrus smells like orange peel. The lavender smells spot on like fresh lavender and not overpowering or artificial like other products tend to be.The peppermint isn't as potent as Dr. Bronners in smell or in tinglieness from the mint, but its still effective..The tea tree presumably smells like tea tree, I have no first hand experience but its not bad.I made a blend of the first three with some water for a hand pump by the sink and just really enjoy washing my hands a lot more now.Nice variety pack and good way to pick your favorite flavor or make some blends easily.

Great product and great value.
Love the gentle yet effective clean of these natural soaps. Have not tried household cleaning with them yet, but great for hair and body cleansing.

I'm sure it works for others but didn't for me.
I'd like to give this 5 stars because I love that it's made here & they really do smell great. They're not overly scented as some of the other brands out there. HOWEVER......I recommended using these ONLY for skin & beauty products. I tried them in my homemade dish soap & they did NOT work....they left everything greasy & with a film on them. That doesn't happen with Dr. Bronner's. Same with the hand soap I made. It worked but wasn't overly cleaning like Dr. Bronner's. Instead my hands feel oily afterwards & I sometimes have to use more then the 1 pump to clean them. Unless I have batches of homemade skincare products to do (shower gel, shampoo, etc.) I won't be purchasing them again. I'll be going back to Dr. Bronner's because I know that those DO work in my recipes. I'm in Chicago so have no hard water issues or anything that would alter how these work. Maybe these work better with certain types of water such as hard water.

I usually use castille soap for doing laundry, so I thought I'd give a different brand a try. Not a good idea, it left oil stains ALL OVER MY CLOTHES! I'm a laundry wizard, I can get stains out with ease, but this did not come out. It's not my first time using castille soap in the wash, I normally use Dr. Bronners which works great. I'm not happy with this product.

Best Castile I've ever used!
I have tried several other name brand's and also some store brand's but, I don't think any of them stand up to the Carolina brand. I love this Castile soap, I think the scent's are in perfect balance, not too weak nor too strong. Several of the well known brand's of Castile soap seem to make my skin have a burning sensation after using and some just plain have a not pleasant odor after use. I love everything about the Carolina Castile and getting four scent's for the price of just one of Dr. Bronner's is a fantastic plus for me. My thinking is, perhaps it's the Kukui Nut oil that keeps this from leaving my skin with the burning sensation. I love this and highly recommend it.

Best castile soap for the money
This is hands down the best castile soap I have tried for the money (the set was $30 when I got it). I have tried all of the major brands: Bronner's, Woods, Desert Essence. I feel like the level of suds and length the soap stays sudsy is just a bit better than any of the other three. The scents are strong, but not overpowering. They smell natural, and it's a pleasure to bathe with them. Now, having said that, the edge this soap has over the others is not huge. So if you can get the others for 25% less than these, I would go for it. Bronner's is normally $10 for 16ox or $18 for 32, but it doesn't produce enough suds and the scent is a bit weak. Woods smells the best but produces the least amount of suds, but it's also the cheapest at $7.The one thing I'm worried about is Carolina's attempt to get an organic rating. If they do that the price might go up, and if so, it will no longer be the best value for the dollar.

Love these soups
Love these soups, got only four stars because you can't choose your own pack, tea tree allergy and don't love the lavender smell, sigh.
