It is as pretty as the picture. Ultra thin. I've never had cast iron this thin and still smooth. Cooked steam rice in it, tastes the same as that cooked in other thicker cast iron, a lot better than rice cooker products. And, this work can work with Le Creuset tagin side by side, the tagin top can be used on this base, and the lid can be used on other 10 inches round pot. This pot makes my other ones work better, so happy about thatPacking is OK, the lid does not seal perfectly，but acceptable，took one star out for improvement。 I will buy more Lava black enamel products，have very good experience so far。
