Genexice Robe Hook with Rotate & Lock Suction Cup

My husband and I thought we found a terrific way to avoid putting permanent fixtures up in bathrooms. We have purchased 9 Genexice products over a 2 year period. Unfortunately all nine items have completely lost their ability to stick to our tile walls in the bathroom. As these items are a bit expensive, we are clearly disappointed.

The Genexice line of Rotate & Lock suction products is fantastic! I have the soap dish, towel bar, razor holder, and two types of utility hooks, this and one other with a translucent plastic hook. I have attached them to glass (lightly textured) sliding doors, fiberglass shower stall walls, tile (both smooth AND lightly textured), and mirrors. For my applications, these hold almost like they were bolted to the surface and yet can be removed and repositioned fairly easily without leaving residue. I have several soap trays, which I use as sponge holders: dish sponges in the kitchen, and facial sponges in the bathroom. The bathroom has a large mirror that covers most of the wall over the sink so I attach the holder to bottom of it. It holds incredibly well, almost like it is a permanently-attached fixture. However, the kitchen holder is attached to a tile backsplash with a slight texture to it so every couple of months or so, I remove and reattach it. The kitchen soap tray fell at one point, but that was after over 8 weeks of continuous use. It's a good idea to do this at intervals with these to "refresh" the hold, but I do it most often with the kitchen soap tray because of the nature of the surface and the general stress I put on it in a typical day. It’s also a good idea to wash the suction cups with soap and water now and again remove any dirt, grit, or soap before reattaching.Keep in mind these are suction-hold devices and although they do have the toughest hold of any similar product out there, there are limits. The suction generally works great, but general performance will depend on the type-of-surface you attach it to, the level of moisture, and the weight of the items put on (or in) the holders. Since I now remove and reattach them at intervals, I haven’t had the slightest problem with any of the Genexice suction products slipping or falling. They also are made of quality materials so they resist pitting and rusting, clean easily, and look classy!I can’t say enough good things about these products. I’ve even given a few as gifts and everyone loves them!

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! DO NOT BUYThe product is completely made up of CHEAP plastic.The suction only works for a few hours then it falls off.I clean the surface of the tile and suction cup, wet it a little bit, and falls off within a few hours.If ZERO stars was an option this would be ZERO stars.

This really worked with no real effort other than cleaning the tile before putting it in place. (It comes in quite handy for towels where you don't want to put holes in your tile).
