The product was easy to setup and use, "plug and play". The instructions were well written and understandable. Very nice product to have when a younger child, grandson or even the wife wants the ability to watch a DVD movie or listen to a music CD while moving around the house or outside. Recommend this device for those that like the alternatives to setting in place to watch or listen their favorite stuff.

At first I couldn't get the dvd to read but then I realized I didn't pull the tag out if the card reader!! Dvd player works fine I order the red and got the blue but I wanted the blue originally so I'm happy with purchase!! Iight need to buy a second for my other kid..🤣

This product is a life saver!!! My review is too late but I just had to write it. All stay at home Moms must buy it. Or if you will travel alone with your little one this is a must!First of all, this is better than an iPad because your kids will actually finish something and not press buttons to move from one app to anotherI was able to use this during the following situations when I was alone with my child:1. I had this with me during a 13 hour flight. The battery lasts for 5 hours so I used it during times when I had to eat or when I had to distract her. Trust me your sanity and your fellow passengers will thank you for it.2. Long drive. It keeps them occupied and makes my baby fall asleep.3. My doctor's check up when I had to have my blood drawn or when I had to be on the examination table and no one could carry her4. ErrandsYou can buy used CDs from amazon. I was able to get Barney, Mickey, and others for 2 dollars!Aside from that baby actually sings when watching so you can buy musical DVDsVery strong and sturdy. I cannot count the number of time that my baby has dropped this!The bag is very helpful. We dont use the headset that comes with it.Very easy to operate!

I really like this product, you can't beat the price. Cons are the volume does not go loud enough for most movies to be listened to in the car comfortably by two kids WITHOUT headphones. With headphones is fine, and some people May even view that as a pro so their kids don't turn it up too loud and damage their hearing. Second con for me is I don't like the charger port being like cell phone chargers, they're too fragile. Some of the ematic players have an AC charger port. I ordered two different colors of these players and the blue player cane with the cell phone like charger and the teal one came with the AC adaptor port which is much sturdier and still you can get a cord to hook up to cigarette lighter for car use. Last con is it stopped working after 6 months!!!! I called ematic customer support and they said there's only a 90 day warranty and there was nothing they could do for me but sell me a new one. It would come on, but when I put a DVD in it would just spin and spin. LUCKILY just minutes before I was going to put it in the trash I decided to try to clean the reader area with a cotton swab and alcohol. And wouldn't you know it worked??!! So, we are good to go again.. for now.

So far so good. Opened today for Christmas. My 3 year old seemed to like the earphones at first: He's taken them off and now just listening aloud. So far he likes it. We'll see. The the thing is pretty though. Headphones are perfect for the little head and ears.Update: This has been a good buy. It's withstood my five year old for about a year now👌 It's been dropped countless to es and luges to and from the car and around the house.. literally. It's been outside on the patio..left there a few days..it will take a beating and keep on ticking! The charger still works perfectly and I also bought one for the car with a long cord so there aren't any problems there. I don't mount mine in my car.. obviously.. My son uses it for his night movies. Headphones not so durable. Broke those straightaway. Thee flimsy cord broke and therefore esndere then useless😑. Still, this is a great buy for t he moneny.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter she loves it as her last one had just stopped working. We went to Disney for Christmas so it was perfect for the car ride. I had charged it fully before leaving and charged it in hotel before leaving to come back home. The battery last for one movie. She went to watch it last night but we had not charged it since being back home so i went to plug it in the car charger for first time and realized the car charger that they recommend you buying together does not fit. I just looked back at the pics it shows a circle charging port on dvd player and comes with the circle car charger however the actual charging port on the dvd player is not circle. My phone charger fits it. The right house charger came not sure what happened but this is why it only got 4 stars.

Ordered 2 of these for 3 and 5 year grandkids for car rides, etc. Researched long and hard about headrest mounted DVD players vs portable and decided portable would be more versatile.I am extremely pleased with the units, initial charge 3 hours and played for 3+ hours without headphones on. I taught the kids how to load and unload the DVD's (does not play blu-ray) and they both grasped it quickly. Each unit has only one headphone plug. Picture quality is very good and fits just right on little laps. I tilted it every which way while playing and disc never skipped or stopped. The only issue we had was when all of the promotional materials concluded at the beginning of the DVD and the movie was ready to start playing, they didn't know which button to press to make the actual movie start. The five year old figured it out quickly, the 3 year old needed help. BTW, the color was actually fuschia, almost more pink than purple but still delighted the girls.Update: One set of headphones quit working after 3 uses. Does not appear headphones can be purchased separately/
