I have owned some pretty expensive Cowboy hats . Eg. I have this really nice Black 6X Stetson that I paid over $200 for . --- Now -- Do I want to wear that to work ?? Dirt and rain and sweat are almost a guarantee and it would be a shame to mess that hat up -- I always took the hat off when it rained and when I began to perspire. So what was the point of spending so much money on something when I cant wear it ?!?! ( I can really only basically wear at a rodeo event or a party or something like that). Now this here Justin 3 X is the answer !! I purchased the Silverbelly . I was nervous before I opened the package. I mean This was very inexpensive so I thought that I would be receiving a cheap - costume hat . Thank God that notion was wrong !!Was a little big (compared to my other 7 3/8's hats) but thats fine . I had to do a little re-shaping - but that is also fine . ( I normally re-shape every cowboy hat I've ever owned to my liking ). Over the past week I wore this hat almost every day . And the weather was very humid the first day and wet and chilly the next 3 days . The indoor arena at the horse farm I work at needed a lot of attention so after getting all the horses into their stalls from the outside ( very wet ) - I spent the rest of the day sweating - covered in dirt and dust . - I looked at my hat on the way home and thought to myself " I am going to have to only wear this now on rotten days -- I wont be able to clean this hat "! -- Well -- I let it dry over night . -- The hat was so dirty it looked yellow and brown from all that dirt and dust . -- I used my HAT BRUSH ( highly recommend by the way) and just after a little brushing - my hat looked new again . ---- And pretty much kept its shape . --- So I am really happy that I purchased this -- I am now placing an order for the black one this time . -- Ahhhh heck !! Might as well get the brown one too at this point !

This is the my first cowboy hat, The size is a little off but just by and 1\2 inch but after doing a search online the band should shrink a lit bit to make a it fit better but I will see. If not I will just get the foam hat band filler to make it a tighter fit. I also recommend getting the hat brush if you do not have one to clean it. Update: I have been wearing for sometime now in snow, rain, heat and it is holding up great with a weekly brushing. Also I have been stop by a few people asking how it fits and I let them know you have to measure your head where you would like it to sit on your head and they asked me where they can get one and I tell them here.

The overall look and quality of the hat is great. I've owned several in the past of different brands, but this one just seems to fit a little bigger than the others of the same size. It's really close but just not quite the right fit. I can use it and I will but if I order another one it will be the next size down.

It’s my second Justin hat. The quality, craftsmanship and fit is as expected - excellent. It arrived safely to UK in a cardboard box. I have few western hats so this time decided to reshape the crown softening the cattlemen crease for more kind of rancher look and reduced the height. I also flattened the brim to open road and curved it slightly upwards. Felt is of decent quality so steam from the kettle or steam-ironing and cotton towel is all you need to modify the shape. Once cooled down the shellac in felt well stiffens the structure. Mind the hat band as its not stitched to the crown. Overall very happy with it, doesn’t look or feel like a hat under £100.
