National RP-5707 Axle Repair Bearing

You need the right tools to do this job don't take long and not hard to do best to rent tools if you don't have them you tube the procedure I have replace bearings in many cars in last many years they all are simuliar at first I thought these hung out to far not total flush but I felt back side and they weren't going in no more so I slid axle in and all was good like I said I only done this a week ago and all is great no more noise these I been told these repair bearings are hard to get back out I not to worry about that I will get them out when time comes hopefully many years to come

They work for a while - but when they go out and it's time to remove them, you can't use a regular bearing puller - there is no large surface area race for it to grab! Instead you must cut and break the old race and bearings out. The rollers are also much smaller making them more likely to fail - see attached photo. Took four hours to remove!

Am ABSOLUTE pain in the @ss to install since there oversize. But they settled down within a few miles and are Silent

Ordered 2 'National' rear axle bearings (# RP5707). Inside the box that arrived, contained two smaller boxes. One box is marked 'National' the other box says 'MasterPro undercar.' The 2 brgs' do have noticable differences. Further, despite Amazon product discription saying; "made in the USA," both are made in CHINA!
