I'd read reviews from others about the taste of the straw, so I was a bit worried. But, after a couple washings, I don't even notice it. This canteen has really helped us become less dependent on bottled water. I purchased a PUR water pitcher for our refrigerator and now we just fill up our canteens on the way out the door on the way to work, the gym, etc. I prefer my water cold or room temperature but without ice. Others had expressed concern about how the canteen will sweat if there is ice inside. This IS TRUE! If you're looking for something that will not sweat, this is not the item for you. When I do put ice in it, I place a koozie around the canteen so I don't get water all over my desk at work or at home.

I returned this item. In the low 70's temps and cool water added the ice melted within two hours. It sweats profusely and gets dripping water everywhere. I have one of these but it might be an older model as the logo is along the bottom and I LOVE that one. Keeps ice cold for over 24 hours in the hottest of weather and doesn't drip. t wanted to get another to have on hand so was extremely disappointed in the quality and performance of this one.

Even with ice, my water is back to room temperature within the hour. I like the design, and other reviews claimed otherwise, so that was disappointing.

I cannot say enough good about Green Canteen. I'm a student and I've been using the first one I bought for three years straight everyday I go to school, which is four days a week.. I have backups! You will not go wrong investing in one of these gems. I love the vacuum ones.....they keep liquids at least warm for most of the day!

well made bottle, but the cap is cheaply made, and easy to break.

Not insulated. The straw was of poor quality and kept dislodging from the cap. I have a Green Canteen that I really like. But this one was not like it.

I really like it a lot..when it arrived I opened I thought I was a little larger. It is working out great.

Did not keep drinks cold very long, Sweated very bad, Finish blew off in dishwasher even though it says dishwasher safe. Returned!!
