I have to grind a lot of pills every day for my horse. I have been through so many small plastic grinders and none of them take multiple pills.Set it to its finest setting and the resulting powder dissolves in water ready to syringe.I am grinding 10 to 15 very hard tablets at a time and it's so easy.Highly recommend.

I dont like to swallow tablets so bought this pill crusher it's good and sturdy. I give it 4 stars as some of the crushing parts are plastic and which I thought the whole device was metal

I have purchased this for my grandmother to grind her pills to be fed through a tube for her. When my mother brought it over to Lithuania (where my nan lives) upon testing it out, it would not grind at all! As per the reviews seen on this listing they have tried out breaking the pill in half and only put one pill at a time. But still the pills would not grind at all. Not happy with this product.

My grandmother, who I care for, has difficulty swallowing tablets.Her doctor is also unfortunately unable to source some of the medication she needs in liquid form, so she was told that he'd continue to prescribe tablets, but that she'd need to buy a pill grinder, and eat the resulting powder with food.Therefore, since she is unable to use Amazon herself, I ordered this for her.So far, it has been brilliant, if a little expensive for what it is. It grinds all of her tablets into a fine powder, which I then mix with a yoghurt, which she is then able to eat.It can even manage to grind all of her pills at once, although this takes some force! (so I do it for her)So, we can both confidently rate this pill grinder 10/10!It has improved her quality of life drastically, as she no longer has to choke down, and possibly bring up again, 9 different pills and capsules. Instead, she just eats her normal breakfast yoghurt, but with the pill powder mixed in!*IMPORTANT NOTE!*Capsules CANNOT be ground up, as these are time released, according to her doctor, while (most) pills are not. (Her doctor has made sure all her time-released medicine is in capsules, for this reason)Instead, I open the capsules, and mix their powder/granule contents into the powder produced by this grinder, then mix it into the yoghurt, which works perfectly!Overall, the grinder is strongly constructed out of stainless steel, with a plastic lining for hygiene. The powder container is a strong, clear plastic, which is attached to the grinder body with a twist-lock.It can be completely disassembled for cleaning, which is great, plus you can adjust how fine the resulting powder is with a knob, easily accessible beneath the grinding mechanism.We both rate this pill grinder highly!

I have very bad hands and this is brilliant so easy to use and clean

I don’t think ours was particularly well made and the handle mechanism detached in two separate parts rather than one. The remains section that needs removing before you can inset the pills is difficult to remove and not ideal if the have arthritis or weakness in the hands

I have a plastic one that cracks and really hard to crush my seniors meds. This one is like a pepper grinder and after a couple of turns, everything was crushed and not chunks left over. Made beautiful powder after a couple of turns with little effort. Definitely recommend, especially with someone who has arthritis

I ground up 200 500mg vitamin C tablets in less than 5 minutes then i used a plastic straw to blow the dust residue from the grinder parts. Did not see a reason to wash with soup after use. When i initially received it i washed all the parts in soap and water and air dryed them with a medium setting hair dryer. I placed about 6 or eight large tablets in the resorvoir and ground them by rotating the handle , shaking other tablets in place and rotating more. Was a quick and efficient method. If it tried to jam i reversed the grinding actio one or two turns and repeated the clockwise grinding. Clock wise produces very fine results and counter clockwise fine results. It would be great if the grinder parts were metal instead of plastic but i am very happy with the results . I take 2,000 mg of vitamin C in 8 oz,s of water everyday to the destroy the Arthritis Calcium in my bone joints which reduces my pain level from a 7 or 8 to a tolerable 1 or 2. Once my pain level is reduced i maintain a 1,500 mg dose per day of vitamin C . I cannot take Nsaids of any kind bc of another medical condition.
