Tiny Weaving: Includes Two Mini Looms! (RP Minis)

Great way to try different color palettes and various stitches…makes cute little tapestries for granddaughters doll house!

This is one of Running Press's better kits. It really works. It had enough materials to make 2 different kinds of weaves: tapestry weave and plain weave. They forgot to include embroidery floss in the box, but fortunately I cross-stitch and have plenty on hand. Sewing thread would work too.I've never really weaved before, and they turned out okay! The kit is enough to give you a taste of "grown-up" weaving. Believe me, it's more difficult than those stretchy cloth loops (like big rubber bands) we made potholders out of as kids. This is much more challenging.I love arts and crafts kits because they're a cheap way to see if you like something before investing lots of money in it. This is totally worth $10 or whatever it costs now.Update:I framed my tiny masterpiece! I think it looks great.

Great for practice and making projects. Everything is included. I just threw it in my carry-on. I use at home fir a quick project and some alone time. The two types are a great addition. I would not recommend for kids under 9 because of the size

The mini looms are the absolute cutest and I love that they provide instructions for 2 designs! I'm only giving 3 stars though because it was missing the warp thread. Like another reviewer said, it's a simple fix, but I was so excited to start immediately when I got the kit.

This tiny weaving kit is a fun, easy introduction to weaving. Like other reviews stated, mine also was missing the embroidery floss needed for the warp thread. The little looms are fun to use. I would have liked more instruction on how to secure yarn ends so they don't come loose. I think it's priced a little high, though, for what you're getting.

This is a pretty cool little loom. Instructions lack clarity regarding removing your finished work from the loom.

Received my kit and was super excited to get going but missing the thread that was supposed to be included in the box. :( So I’ll have to supplement with something’s else.

Perfect for making my pendants. Very sturdy. Will last for many pendants!

Super impressed especially for the moneyEverything you need is included and the book explains how to get started if you are a beginner weaver.I’d recommend it if you want to try tapestry weaving before buying a bigger loom.I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for children as it’s quite fiddly for small fingers.Overall it’s a cute little kit to make tiny weavings on, I’m going to use it to make Christmas ornaments and pin badges.

At the top of the project photo is a wool needle for scale.They are perfect for little sampler projects and each has different warp numbers for different effect. Sturdy. Comes with enough yarn to get started, the tools to help you complete your project, and an instruction book to give you some basic skills. I also think it would be a lovely gift.
