Newton Homeopathics Scoot Stopper for Dogs and Cats

I have an elderly Chihuahua that has frequent issues with her anal glands. I was looking for an alternative to having her anal glands expressed at the vets office as it seems very painful/traumatic for her and I've heard that this can really hurt her over time. I had changed her diet to include more whole foods like chicken, greens and pumpkin but it didn't seem to make a big difference. I started using scoop stopper and within 3 days her anal glands were reduced in size. I no longer need to use this daily and instead make sure to give it 3 times per week. This has seemed to keep her problems at bay and I just hope it keeps working long term! To administer, I mix the drops with a tiny amount of purified water and squirt directly into her mouth with a 1cc syringe. She doesn't mind as I don't think it has a taste.

This is great for my overweight female of 6 years old. She would scoot at least once per day, leaving “residue.” As long as I give her Scoot Stopper, she rarely scoots. She weighs about 18 pounds. I put 5-6 drops on her wet food and mix it in, 1-2x per day. It is very difficult to directly give “meds” to her. Via food works well. I mix lightly to avoid complete dilution with food.

Two of my poor kitties were having a terrible time. I HATE the idea of taking them to the vet for expelling of the glands as they can become dependent on the process, it can weaken their glands, and other issues can arise. So, when they started with the scooting again I looked for another solution. Well, I have only given them a few doses over the last week but (<heehee) it may have already begun to help as neither of them have had once instance of grossing me out since and I have felt confident about putting the carpet shampooer away! LOL!! I say give this product a try. I mean, like people, one thing may work for one but not the other. However, considering the alternatives it's worth the money and the try.
