The best root touch up Ive used. But like with everything that's decent they decided to stop making this particular product 🙄 Probably because it's such a value for what I used to pay in stores. Wish someone would make a product like this. Exactly like this

My can had the lid loose like another reviewer that gave 1 star for that.You can pull the white dispenser top out of the clear lid if you press the white "clips" together; press it to remove it/ use tweezers.I put it on my family member who has dark brown- looks black hair. I order MEDIUM BROWN with the thought that worse case then her grays will look like highlights.Her grays came out the SAME color as her hair.Hair dresser says perfect color match to her hair color! Medium Brown matches dark brown?!People SAY they have been coloring their hair bit have so many issues in the reviews.To avoid issues:1. WEAR GLOVES. 1 pair comes in the pkg. If u need more gloves then get some at nitrile gloves at Costco.If u r super cheap then pull out a pair at the buffet at your local Whole Foods/ Supermarket or swipe a pair from ur Doctor's office.2. Pull you hair back into pony TAILS/ section in thin pony TAILS to move your hair to left or right to get to the scalp. Even a 1 pony tail is ideal for baby hair grays; pull out the small section around the face to color front and back of gray sections of baby hairs.3. DO the allergy test on inner arm or a small section, 1 inch max, of grey hair that you can easily rinse out at kitchen sink. We did this to also find out IF after applying color & then waiting 5 mins was enough time; it was not for her hair.4. Smear cheap thicker lotion around your face along hair line, ears, and neck, to keep skin from staining. I did that and we had no face staining. We used 365 Baby lotion.5. Use a cheap towel or t-shirt to do this b/c because it is a thicker cream that can still drip.6. DIRTY hair is best for coloring/dying and then rinse out at kitchen sink. Use an ultra mild shampoo immediately after rinsing; take a shower to get all the chemicals off your head, neck, etc.We were happy with results but her hair dresser told us waiting 15 mins if I can get the color all applied in 5-10 minutes should be safe so we might try that to get the grays a deeper color. Some of her grays were barely colored, which another reviewer commented about lack of saturation. Sometimes grays look like they are lightly/ barely saturated with color even in the salon, which is why timing is key.

I LOVE THAT YOU CAN OPEN THIS AND JUST USE A LITTLE…I ONLY HAVE A FEW GRAYS AT MY TEMPLE AND I ONLY NEED A LITTLE AT A TIME…I CAN USE THIS AT LEAST TEN TIMES..MY HAIR IS LIGHTER RED SO I JUST LEAVE IT ON NO MORE THAN TEN MINUTES OR IT GETS TOO DARK RED…BUT OTHERWISE I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT

Medium Golden Brown - Excellent product, simple to use, may be used many times, not messy, color blends very well with brown highlighted hair, 5 minutes application (first time I wrote a review due to extreme satisfaction)

This New Root Erase is the best! Not only is it fast, keeps the remaining colorant sealed so it can be used several times, but it covers grays or darkens lighter hair in a natural color!! Looks like natural color grow out when done! And, keeps my hair from being excessively damaged from all other "permanent coloring" boxed products. I use this on my roots only. Stubborn grays may take 20-30 min, sometimes I need to do twice to cover everything. In between, I use WOW root cover powder (which is also fairly water proof when swimming until shampoo out). I've been using Root Erase product for a couple years now. I love it!!! It is so much better than any others out there and the saving product package is so perfectly convenient. Although Revlon now sells in China, I prefer buying Revlon because they were one of the first companies to "not test on animals" back in early 2000s. I use two colors if highlighting a couple days apart. It is common that the color runs out before the developer in the end, but I use that with baking soda for lightening/blonde around my face and if its too light - I use Biotin Shampoo to pull the brassy and even the color. If still needs a slight darken, I will use the blonde Root Touch-up to slightly darken but leave on about 10 min. Over time the roots grow out, but by the time it's to the ends, they are blonde. So Natural Looking. Dark to Light. I am forever young beach babe! :)Lately it seems hard to find - I hope it will never be Discontinued!!!!
