I wanted this mainly because it's an Asus product. But I was definitely not going to pay $149.99 for it. I just waited until I found a good deal. After a few months the price dropped to $129, I seen a "like new" for $79 then I seen it was being sold for new for the same price.After a few weeks of contemplating I end up buying it. I still didn't use it after receiving it. But I did check it out. Oh my God, it's huge! Of course after using it for a week or so I'm use to the size.I left it alone and decided to use it around the holidays since I was off work a little more. I end up registering it on Asus website because my Asus Chakram wireless mouse's scroll wheel is squeaking. But Asus support says I need to mail it in for repair, I tried to set up my own repair. The website kept saying the serial number is invalid. I digress..I have a Asus RoG that use for internet searching and playing video games (The Sims 4). I love RGB effect, but after awhile it gets to be a bit much. I like that it can wirelessly charge devices. I works with my (cell) phone but doesn't work with Asus Chakram wireless mouse.I don't care for the RGB so I stopped it from flashing at all. But having the mouse pad &/or the charging cable for laptop is a lot. All I wanted was the flat surface & the ability to charge my phone - hopefully to mouse too. So I end up unplugging the Asus mouse pad from my laptop but I can still wirelessly charge other devices.I would recommend this for anyone who wants to own another Asus product, wants a flat surface at their desk, especially laptop owners to use when they're on the couch, or in a chair/recliner!

I have had this gaming pad for awhile now and I have nothing really bad to say about it. It comes with a rear Usb port, an Led switch to change color patterns, or you can use the Asus Aura software if you have it. I think it says it is waterproof also, but I bought an Asus TUF soft mouse pad and it fits over it with no problem. I did that for a little extra protection, but that's me.. It's hard plastic, and it takes time to get use to if your not used to using a hard mouse pad, and it really makes your mouse very sensitive. I thought at first it was a little to pricey, but having it without the leds not burning out, shorting out compared to some of these soft mouse pads that have shorted out on me in the past. Believe me, the money is worth it, and if you don't have a huge desk, this pad is worth every penny. Hope this review works for you.

i was having tracking issues with my old mouse pad and since i have a few other ROG components for my pc i decided to give this new mouse pad a try even tho it was expensive and have not been disappointed.my mouse tracks much better then it ever did with my old gaming mouse pad and the leds sync up with asus aurora program perfectly

This thing is so advanced, I half-expected it to talk to me and offer life advice.Let’s start with the Qi charging zone. It’s there, it works, but it’s about the size of a postage stamp. It’s like ASUS was thinking, “Yeah, we’ll give you wireless charging… but only a taste. Keep dreaming, gamer.” I’d love a full-surface charger—slap my mouse down anywhere, maybe throw my phone on there, a couple of smartwatches, and why not? Let’s charge a pizza cutter while we’re at it. But alas, the charging zone is more like a VIP section for very small devices.As for the pad itself? Oh, it’s huge. It’s like ASUS decided your desk should just be the mouse pad. The RGB lighting is so straightforward to configure that even my cat could customize it (if he wasn’t busy trying to sit on the charging zone, the little troll). The built-in cable management clips are a nice touch, and the cables themselves are long enough to hang out at your neighbor’s house if needed.I paired this beauty with a Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE mouse, and together they’re like Batman and Robin—though I’m still waiting for the mouse to start charging wirelessly without a game of “Find the Qi Zone.” All in all, it’s a fantastic mouse pad, but if ASUS releases a version where the whole pad is a wireless charger, I’m throwing my money at them faster than RGB lights change colors.

I use it to recharge my rechargeable wireless mice. It will also recharge my phone. It's a very large pad, so make sure you have desk space. I like the size because it gives you more room to move the mouse around without going off the pad. Because it's a hard pad, it's not as easy (or flimsy) to move around if needed, like a soft mouse pad, but because of the size, it could be used as another writing surface if needed.

I was expecting the whole thing to be wireless charging, not the top right corner only.
