QZDB-3322 22" x 33" Granite Drop-In Double Bowl

This is a great looking sink. I couldn't be more pleased with the final product. Durable, excellent sink depth, nice finish (shine it up w/ olive oil). The sink was an absolute pain to install. You'll need a 1.25 diamond hole saw to cut additional holes for separate faucet handles, soap dispensers, etc. If you, like me, don't happen to have a _diamond_ hole saw and need someone to take care of that part but are otherwise proficient in sink installation....good luck. Don't call a plumber, most won't have diamond hole saws, you'll need to call a granite counter top company or similar trade shop. Be prepared for most of them to tell you "No, we don't do that....unless you have purchased counters from us". Luckily, I finally did but it tooks calls to 8 plumbers and 5 granite shops before I found someone who would help me out and even then the granite shop only did so to be kind. They do not normally offer that service.Can you drill it with a bi-metal holesaw? Again, good luck and I expect you to burn through a couple of them in the process. The diamond hole saw did cut it like butter. The next install pain was the retaining clips for securing the sink to your counter (mine was a top mount install). The clips are weird and with not much working room or wiggle room on proper install for this part, patience is your friend.Once installed, it is truly a great sink but getting there can be a journey of trial and error beyond a typical sink install.

The sink is beautiful. Easy to install. After it was installed, I noticed a faint crack in the lip radiating slightly into the bowl. I have put epoxy on the back part of the sink that I can reach and believe it will hold. If it does, no one will ever notice. I am not sure the crack occurred in shipping, but there was a loose piece of wood floating around in the box when the sink was received.

We just had our old corian countertops replace with new black granite countertops. The new countertops were installed by a local company, however, I installed this sink (I gave the granite company the measurements for this sink so they could make a cut out).This Swanstone sink was easy to install, but the plumbing was rather complicated as always, so I would recommend having a professional do it.This sink is, without a doubt, my favorite kitchen sink ever I ever had. The bowls are pretty deep and it is just a big sink in general. The nero color is very nice! Since the granite we got installed is black with specs of other colors, the sink matches very well. I think a straight black sink would a little funny with granite like that. The nero color is basically a dull shade of black/dark grey. The stone this sink is made out of makes it seem durable and appealing. We got a nice Delta faucet from Lowe's. It is a great match for this sink, but it is expensive. But if you can afford this sink, then you can probably afford a nice faucet. The following is the faucet we got:Delta Faucet 9192T-AR-DST Addison Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology, Arctic StainlessI only had the sink for about a one month and so far I have NO complaints! Highly recommended! I will update review if something happens to the sink.

I finally got a unit that was not broken or damaged. After cutting out the hole for the new sink in a very expensive counter top the sink was taken out of the shipping box and was broken and cracked. I ordered another one and it came broken in half. I finally had to drive 220 miles to a retail store and pick one of the unites in stock and inspected the unit. The retailer replaced at no cost to me. The unit is now installed and working ok. I will not use this type of product again. I also had to eat the expense of the first sink which I bought on Amazon

This sink is great.It will fit into a standerd builder series/cheep sink cut out.I mounted mine on top of the counter top to replace my 10 year old builder 6" deep stainless steel sink.Man what a difference.From 6" deep to 8 1/2 to 8 3/4 @ the drain makes it seem so much deeper my words can't really describe the difference.Night and day come to mind.Old sink my 10" tabletops unlimmited professional pan would not sit flat at the bottom of the sink.Swanstone on the left side no problem.If using a dish drainer behind the sink like i am i recomend the full size Simple Human.The drain pours directy into the bottom of the sink because of the curved back on the sink.NOTE: If you have someone insall or insall youself like i did DO NOT use plummer puddy on the draines. I payed close attation to the puddy direction and it said DO NOT USE ON GRANITE SINKS.The directions recomended high quality silicone calking for granite sink to drain flanges.So i did. I used a lot around the flanges and let it come out. Let dry over night.In the morning after you coffee take a razor and cut excess flush with sink.Recomend black drains.Sink is so well built I can bearly hear the garbage disposal.

The product quality is good. Looks good and is well made. However this product was lost in shipment. Because of a time deadline, I was forced to buy another one at Ferguson plumbing supply for 50% more money. The product eventually arrived and now I have a leftover sink! Lovely!

First one arrived cracked in corner. Because of other reviews I knew to look for such. Returned with no problem. New one arrived in one week with no flaws. Trouble with installation as it was a little warped, so wouldn't sit evenly on counter. Once installed and now being used, I enjoy it very much as it's very easy to maintain and keep clean.
