Columbian Catalog Envelopes, Gummed Seal, 6" x 9", Brown Kraft, 500 Per Box (CO645)

When I first purchased this product, I bought it to go in my desk in the living room. I have a bamboo shelf and bamboo office organizer. This charging station fit with that décor perfectly. It would keep all the products charged neatly. But I could not use it on that desk because it is the public desk my children use.The product is sturdy. The product does charge multiple products at a time. It is very organized. However, it can’t charge my children’s products because my children’s phones and tablets are covered with protective cases like OtterBox.This stand will fit some of the models out there. We are a techie family so it will fit five of my devices and an Apple Watch or FitBit. I do love this product….for me. I have supplied photos showing a iPad 3 in a plain red case, an iPad Air2 in a white ZAGG keyboard case, and a Kindle Fire without case. No phones are pictured because I am using mine for the photo and my children’s will not fit. If you look close enough, you can see that red case is a thin cardboard like material covered in vinyl. It even has wear on the end. It’s not a hard shell. There is no keyboard on that case. If I drop it, I am out of luck. If I am in a hurry, I can lay it over 2 slots and if I pay close attention, I can squeeze it in that slot just right. But, it does take focusing.Is it necessary to remain in a case in order to charge it? It really isn’t. But, part of being organized is making things convenient. If I had left this charging unit on the desk it was originally purchased for, my kids would have used the ports in front of it and stuffed paper in the slots in back. This would have been my new mail organizer/phone charger.

I was a little nervous about buying these envelopes because they didn't have any reviews when I purchased and the price was so much lower than the other ones I was finding. I needed them for a "lumpy mail" mail campaign--I was sending little objects (that make the envelope lumpy) to people along with a letter introducing my company. They held up so well to the USPS--I know because I got a couple back due to address changes, and they'd taken a massive beating, but were still in great shape (they were marked up, folded and looked like they had been crushed, but didn't tear).The seals aren't the best--as you can see in the photo, there's a gap in the glue and I found that on some, the glue didn't seal very well along the edges of the ends (so, of the gap, and also each envelope end) which meant that some of them popped back open. I just used tape to be extra certain they'd all stay closed and for the price it was well worth having to go to a little extra trouble for 100% confidence they'd stay closed. (This is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5--better seals would make them perfect.)The stock is nice and thick, and they look really nice with blue ink. Great value, all around.

I purchase these envelopes probably about once a week from the Columbian Envelopes seller. The envelopes are good for what I need and they are not as thin as some of the cheaper quality envelopes out there that I've gotten in the past. They do not have a clasp and are not self sealing. You will have to lick them or wet them to seal the envelopes...they do not have a self sealing adhesive that you just peel and stick just to be clear. The envelopes I have received have never been missing glue, but they have come bent in the package once which caused me to lose maybe ten out of the 500 that were shipped. This was probably just a mistake and I have not seen it since. I would suggest getting these envelopes for anyone that regularly having to ship items of this nature. Good quality and the best bulk price on amazon that i've found.

ve been buying a variety of envelopes for a few years now and love the quality, crisp look and durability of the Columbian Kraft Envelopes.I use these for mailing items wrapped in newspaper and with a bit of clear packaging tape, this is an economical way to go when shipping mail all over the country. Anyone who knows me, knows they will probably see something in one of these envelopes at some point. I have also used them to cover recycled boxes to make the package look a bit more presentable. You simply cut the envelopes open and use them like brown paper. It works!These envelopes are perfect for when you want to store information that you want to be able to access quickly. Since they have a clasp on them, you don't have to worry about sealing up the envelope and then having to destroy the envelope to retrieve the contents.

They are strong. When you go to seal them, use a wet sponge or washcloth, wait a few seconds and then seal. I don't like that the gum doesn't go all the way over to the ends. But, I think what helps the most with this product is knowing that you should wait for a few seconds before sealing and you will get a better seal than if you wet and just do it right away. Otherwise, I like this product and I will buy again.

I really liked these at first, but the adhesion loses stickiness over time. Unless you are using all of them right off, those in the later part of the box won't hold closed as well. Ended up going with a different kind that the adhesive was covered by a sticker so it wouldn't wear out before use.

Very good quality envelopes. I sell old postcards on the major auction site and these are perfect for mailing them. I had previously bought the same amount and size from that office supply site that starts with "S". The weight of the paper was super light which didn't ensure good protection during mailing and most of them had no glue to the back center seam, so I had to tape them all. The gummed seal on these are very functional, too, unlike the others I had. I also paid about $4 more for those. I'll buy this brand from now on.

I like how this product gave no surprises; was exactly what I expected and works great. No complaints.

I am very pleased with them!UPDATE!: after using them a couple of times for my orders I can say that I am extremely pleased with them! my customers pictures show that my product is safely with them un-scathed. I definitely recommend purchasing this if you are in need of a sturdy envelope and buy in bulk!

Does the job.

Looked at several and ordered these since as a tutoring company I do large mailings. They were perfect. Not disappointed at all in the quality.

These envelopes will only hold a couple of pieces of paper. Looking for something deeper to hold at least 5 or 6 pieces of paper folded.

Perfect size and exactly what I needed. Only down fall is the taste of the glue..its so strong and make my mouth feel disgusting. I wish all envelopes were self adhesive.
