Definitely helped with a bird problem

The Bird-X plastic bird spikes were easy to install and got the job done without any setbacks. I would recommend this product to anyone in search of a harmless product that will deter birds from nesting.

These are horrible!! Do not buy and waste your money! They didn’t work; didn’t stay after pigeons knocked them down after taking hours to secure them !!! Pigeons walked right over them and continued to nest ! Watched them do it and work to push them off the ledge!

Barn swallows are protected birds. You cannot kill or injure them or their nests. They make horrible messes and ruin porches and patios. These spikes run them off without hurting them-totally legal.

This stuff looks nasty, and it is. The tips of the spikes are sharp. We were pricked numerous times, but it was well worth the effort. We woke up feeling like we were in a remake of Hitchcock's THE BIRDS. There were hundreds of birds fighting to nest on 100 ft of our eaves at 6:30 am. We found some of this at a hardware store nearby and ordered more from Amazon. The birds were not happy with us - we were squawked at, dive-bombed and pooped on during the installation. But a week later all the birds were gone! They had given up and moved on. This stuff works.

We put over 200ft of these in the outdoor eaves of our 4-pod St. John villa and the birds have not been back. It took us a while to get used to LiquidNails and using screws to get them fastened, but on 8 x 29ft expanses, by the time we got to the last few walls, we were only 45 min putting in 25ft of them on ladder

Put a new roof on my boat slip and the swallows were loving it. Got these spikes and while they kept coming back for a couple of weeks, they did not try to build any more nests. A little pricey, but it works.

Easy to install. Almost indestructable. Great product and so far the pigeons have not returned.

Excellent product. We are pigeon free :)
