Perfect for my shady yard
I've been using this seed for months in my Ohio yard for an area that is always shaded by trees and it grows! I seed monthly because of the shade and constant dog wear and tear but this perennial seed grows consistently. It's effective and a great value for the money.

Excellent Grass seeds
This is the best grass seed I've ever used! Saw growth in first week. Watered twice a day for 15 minutes because of soil. Saw growth coming in in the first week. Ive used the other grass seed they recommend with it. I've recommended this seeds to a few friends also. This is the grass seed you definitely want go buy some today

Pretty good
Update: spring 2024. Tried some Pennington and it didn't germinate at all! Had some of this left over and it is full and growing! I couldn't find my regular brand of perennial ryegrass for fill ins during the summer. I have dogs, ergo I have yellow spots and occasional skid marks than need filling in. This is working well, grows to fill in about 2 weeks. This is the best I can get since mayberry sold out.

Great grass for the money.
Good germination and a nice rye grass. Works great in shady areas especially. Grows nice and thick.

Consistently results in a beautiful lawn
I have purchased this numerous times for over seeding my lawn in Tennessee in the fall. I am always amazed at how quickly it germinates and how beautiful in looks in a matter of weeks. I primarily use it in areas that do not get a lot of sun and that has died during the hottest part of the summer. It looks beautiful in the fall, spring and early part of the summer. But towards the end of summer, it tends to die due to the high heat and drought. I overseed in September, water regularly until it has germinated and started growing well. By mid October it looks beautiful.
