Bought these for my dad. The ones he got from the hospital were pretty itchy. These turned out great for him.

I've been using bags for going on four months due to colorectal cancer. I'm fortunate in that once my chemo & radiation is over I'll get rid of this thing a couple of weeks after. First: make sure you are getting screened. They caught mine at T-1, but at my first surgery 3 weeks after it was T-2 and second surgery a month and a half after it was T-3; so these things can move. I've had several products as samples that I've used. I won't into the pros & cons of each but will touch on why I like this one better than the others, This product uses less surface area but still manages to stick. I've have no skins burns because of the adhesive, which I did experience with some others including one that was twice as expensive. I was previously using rings, which were bothersome and irritating to my skin. I stopped using the rings just to see if this would stay and it does. It's easy to put on. In part because of the smaller surface area of the adhesive and it doesn't have the wings where you stick first and then remove the paper covering the wings to stick the wings down. This helps prevent crinkling of the adhesive which in turn avoids fails. Also, doesn't dip into your navel which is a common problem. On that last here's a pro tip: Cut off center so the edge the bag is further away from your navel. Again, because of the smaller surface area, this is made easier. Best feature is the is the Velcro side flaps. With previous bags lacking these I've had issues when I've needed to tuck the bottom into my waist band, for instance when wearing business close and tucking in my shirt. If you are not careful with those it can come open pulling the bag out or just with movement. This is not an issue with this product. Removal is easier because of the flap at the top of the adhesive. The only things I need with this is lubricant/odor reduction gell, adhesive removing wipes and skin prep spray. On the wipes I really don't end up with a lot of adhesive on my skin as I did with other products where I was getting the blackish ring along the out edge. I use a bag 3 full days and 3 full nights. I know some people go longer but I got in this habit because to avoid waking up in the middle of the night on the 4th or 5th day with a fail and having to deal with it right then. I'd work on my schedule. And did I mention: Get screened for colon cancer!!!! They've got pills now for the colonoscopy prep instead of that nasty liquid. Take the two days off work and get your screening.

If you don't mind wearing a cover or having a transparent pouch you really can't beat this product.

Been using them for several months and they work well. I use 2mm ostomy rings with them.

This is the best colostomy bag for us. We got this bag from the hospital and now we continue to use it at home.

No leaks and no odor, love these.
