Quality build wise, it is strong and not light for sure. The only issue I have is with the plastic bushing that tightens the vertical pole extension, one you set it to your desired height and tighten it just a bit, the bushing sticks and will not release it after loosening the lock mechanism containing the bushing, you will have to remove the bushing before any further adjustments.

The tripod is excellent for the money, I received my with a missing part. I tried to reach them by email and phone with negative results. "Six-Year Warranty, Professional customer service and Technical teams consulting".....????

The photos here on Amazon don’t do this item justice. This makes the other tripods I tried (5 slightly less expensive brands) appear as dime-store toys. It has all the bells and whistles. The quality, workmanship and materials used in the construction are top notch. The carrying case was NO afterthought and has 2 additional zippered pouches.
