Perfect!
I bought this for one of our work trucks and everyone loves it!The drivers have clipboards, but it seems that receipts were always floating around the truck, no one could ever find a pen or stapler when they needed it. So this was the perfect solution for us. The desk top is perfect for writing on, it has a gripping surface that keeps whatever you place on it intact. There is a slot for hanging folders, but we use it for the drivers clipboards, and there are slots for pens, the stapler, etc. The opening under the desktop is big enough for whatever you want - lunch, purse, wallet, etc. This is the perfect centralized location within the vehicle for conducting business. And once it is seat-belted in, it stays put - even in a big bumpy truck!I highly recommend this!

Best car desk
This is my second one of these car desks and it is a must have for any traveling salesperson. Very sturdy construction with plenty of storage for files and price books. It is secured with the seat belt and can be very easily removed and but in the back seat if you have a passenger. The non stick surface is great for a laptop but will wear out over time. If it weren't for that you would not need to replace it.

Great product for people who work out of their car!
This is a great invention!!! I am a caseworker and on the road daily traveling to my cases around our county. It fits well on my passenger seat and has a space for the seat belt so it does not shift around. It keeps me organized! I love it!!

Law Enforcement Use
I mostly love this thing. I'd caution you before you buy to make sure this model fits your needs. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because there are a few things I am less happy with and wish were explained or pictured before purchase. Let's break this down.First I use this in a law enforcement capacity. This sits in my passenger seat and holds paperwork, warrants, odds and ends, Kleenex, a travel size hair removal tape roller, and such. I have modified mine slightly by supergluing a neodymium magnet right where the half circle has been cut out of the rubber mat. I have a small cup of paper clips that I have taped an additional magnet into the bottom, and they sit fairly securely in that spot now. If I put a clipboard on the table portion and knock the cup loose then it is hopefully saved by the files sticking out of the top of the desk, otherwise I know have some cleaning to do. And it's super important to make sure they are all cleaned up, because you know what is perfect for picking the lock on a pair of handcuffs....? I am happy with my modification, but that part of the desk could easily have included some sort of recess or receptacle. The file portion on top of the desk.....The biggest problem I have is that there is not a contained bottom to the opening. You snap in the plastic portion that sticks up. This gives you a place to hang the hanging folders, but inside the cubby, anything down there competes with space with the hanging files. Which leads to folders sticking too far up, being squashed against the back wall, or not opening wide enough when you want to stick something in them, because they are squashed closed. If you don't put hanging file folders in there, and try just sticking paperwork in there then they will slide right out the hole for the cubby and end up in your lap. I would LOVE to have a rectangle box that fits there that is completely contained on the bottom. This is probably my BIGGEST gripe with this model. The small recesses along the back edge...meh. I haven't really found much use for them. They are deep, and somewhat oddly shaped. Just as you see in the picture. If you put pens in there they disappear deep enough that you'd have to dig one out with a finger. The file portion that is along the backside is great. I really don't have any issues with that part. It holds the hanging folders nicely, and if you don't want to use hanging folders you don't have to. You can stick paperwork straight up and it will stand above about 3.5-4 inches. You don't HAVE to strap this down with your seat belt, depending on your car. I am driving a 2009 Dodge Charger, and there is about a 4 inch gap between the front of the desk and my dash. Just enough to sometimes stick a metal clipboard (resting on a duty bag I have in the floorboard). I can't get to the duty bag too easily, but it's not completely cut off either.I also have an Uncle Mike's seat organizer hanging on the passenger seat. I'm still working out the best fit. If you hang it on the seat headrest like you're supposed to, it will cover the back receptacles so I've zip tied it to the roll bar on my prisoner partition. This keeps it up and out of the way, but doesn't supply the back support it needs to stay flat backed. It's starting to taco a little bit. I'll figure it out. The cubby is nice....kinda becomes a hole for junk sometimes. Whatever you put in there that doesn't touch the bottom will likely slide right out and on your lap when you turn...but I am using a police center console, so it's much lower than your's probably will be, and therefore you may not have that problem. I like that the wood portion is sturdy. I may mount a holster to the bottom inside the cubby in case I need to grab a weapon quickly and I’m off duty or it’s just easier to get to. The rubber coating on the desk is pretty grabby. Whatever is seated on it won’t slide, but whatever is on top of that thing most certainly will end up in your lap or on the console….sometimes accidentally activating lighting, radio, PA, or other police equipment depending on your console setup.Beyond that I can’t think of much else to say about it. The desk works great, it’s a big help sometimes, but sometimes I wish it stuck out more, or slid out. That brings me to my first point, make sure it’s going to fit your needs vs. other models. I need a computer mount and a printer mounted in my vehicle now. It seems I am going to have to find a way to modify this one or but another…and they aren’t cheap.

Perfect desk for your vehicle
I drive a 2021 Ford transit van, the big one. It fits perfectly and holds everything I need. Yeah a few of the cubby holes could be different but all and all it helps me out a ton. I’m finally organized. And I got an organizer to go over the back of the seat and that helps as well. I had to return my first desk though, I ordered one with the power inverter that was supposed to be installed in it, and all they sent me was the same auto exec desk with a box that had an inverter in it. There was no cutout for it or mounting spot, so I had to send it back. It was overpriced to have it like that. But honestly, I will never drive another work truck without one of these. Yes it’s expensive but I sure haven’t regretted spending the money

Super organized!
Absolutely love it. I was surprised to see how well the file folders fit AND I can drop my metal clipboard with storage space in front of the file folders and grab it when I need it. Super organized.I do wish I could put a large lip on the side open part thay would unsap and fold down when necessary. When running hot anything I have stacked if I make a sharp turn right slides out and goes down to the floor bored.I'm also in a 09 crown vic and wish the compartment was larger as well. But its absolutely fantastic. Do consider your mount being in the way of the open side portion. You have to entirely move the mount into the driver seat to put anything large (📋) inside the box.

Decent quality
Made fairly well.I did smell fairly bad as others reported but it doesn't stink up the car.The grip top wasn't adhered very well but fixable.
