First your like, damn thats cheap for a bmw cup holder, then you get it and read the install instructions... and your like WTF... yea... I love to work on things, intakes, exhaust, wheels whatever... well the install on the sucks... its not the parts fault, or the sellers... its just what you have to do to get it in there... You have to take everything out of the center... like everything but the seats and the dash... then you have to cut the center console, and if you don't get it right your going to have a hole by your cup holder... So just start with a drill first and then go from there, and take your time... Hope this helps...

This accessory does not fit well the BMW X1. The cup sits leaning towards the right side, so a McDonald's soda cup, for example, when full will tend to leak towards the passenger seat. This accessory also does not fit inside the compartment under the armrest, where the original accessory fits.Although color matches the interior finish of the car, I am very disappointed because it won't hold cups straight and it won't fit the armrest compartment.

Love this thing! It gets in the way of my passenger's long legs sometimes, but it's perfect for my reach, so i have no problems with it. I've had this thing for years, and it remains extremely sturdy and out of the driver's way. It's easy to install but difficult to remove, which, in my case, is perfect considering my lab has torn up almost everything else in that car.

This ended up not fitting in to my BMW X1 2014. Although the service and credit was given quickly.
