Get the real professional tape and lose the unwanted adhesive "ghost".
I bought this to use in a DIY project at home, knowing that I would use the balance (it is a large roll) in the inner-city arts camp where I volunteer during summers. I needed the unique benefit that it does not leave hideous "sticky" behind when you are finished using it. There is a big box home store two blocks away, but Amazon gave the advantage of having a really professional product that would be at my door the next day. Works like a charm. Thanks.

Great Discovery!
Saw this featured and thought to give it a try. - Very impressed with ease of use, but it doesn't feel very 'Sticky' at first, but after rubbing it down in place, it seems to stick very well. - A WHOLE LOT BETTER than Duct or Gorilla Tape, as there is no residue left when taking it off. - Very good for taping electrical cords down to the floor!

Great tape, but not black
I ordered black, as I was going to use it for masking the logos on a camera -- but it's not really black, it's more like a very dark gray. Otherwise, it's excellent tape and I'm keeping it for general purposes, but I had to just go with electrical tape for the purposes I bought it for.

The adhesive seems to leave no residue. And is one third of the price.
I like the price and the no residue adhesion which is very important when temporarily placing cables in a traveled area. Glue on the floor can be a bad trip - literally. We also use it to hold together coiled cable waiting for installation. Residue gathers dust or sticks to passageways when finally installed.

Terrible adhesion
Pretty much junk. Not even close to "real gaff tape" It barley sticks to smooth surfaces, totally fails if it gets wet. dowent seem to leave residue, but honestly I havent given it much of a chance to as it would need to adhere well to justify using it.

There's alway a trade-offl.
It would be nice if the adhesion were a bit more robust (like Gorilla Tape - but NOT that robust) but that off course would make the removal an issue and a problem.

Great gaffer tape. Holds up under heat and cold. Easy to tear, easy to remove. Does not leave residue. Holds silver Sharpie and paint pen writing well.

Good for some functions, not others.
I had an extremely demanding application, patching the seat of an office chair. A prior brand actually worked for that purpose, while this one eventually peeled off.
