Great TV with Excellent Picture, Sound, and Syncs to WiFi Perfectly
The Sony Bravia X950G worked great straight out of the box. I’m by no means a tv aficionado, and I just upgraded from a Visio 45” tv, but I can say that the picture quality is phenomenal, the sound quality is good (but even better when used with a Samsung/Bose Soundbar), and the tv is easy to see in both low light and bright light situations. It took some time to set up as you need to sync it with all your programs such as Netflix, Disney +, cable tv, soundbar, etc, but once it was set up, it worked perfectly every time. We’ve tested out the TV with regular cable watching, Blu-Rays, Netflix, Disney +, Apple TV, and most recently a lot of video gaming, and the picture quality has been great. We have zero issues with connectivity through WiFi and can even connect via AirPlay with little effort. This tv also syncs with Alexa so you can easily turn your tv on, off, and adjust the volume with just your voice. It’s not something we utilize often, but it helps when you can’t find the remote and just want the tv on or off quickly. Another cool feature that’s really convenient is that the television will automatically turn on and go to the correct input when you turn on one of the connected HDMI devices. The kids particularly like this feature because they turn on their Switch and the tv automatically turns on and goes to the correct input. This seems like such a simple thing, but it’s proven very helpful since I don’t have to hear the kids hollering for help on getting the tv on, figuring out the correct input, and so forth. I highly recommend adding some bias lighting and a sound bar if you want your TV a little more “extra” - it really helps ease the strain on your eyes and ups the bass on the sound. Overall, it’s a great television that offers a great viewing experience at a reasonable price.

Very Satisfied Customer thus far!! Received March 21, 2019.
This is a great TV!!! Best I ever had! Speakers are better than most modern TV's but I still bought a Sony HT-X9001F soundbar which makes a perfect companion with good clean bass.. This replaced an old Sony Trinitron that just would not die. This is in my bedroom which is where I do most of my TV viewing at night. I finally decided I may die first with my dream TV money in my pocket so I made the plunge and I'm so glad I did. It really does drastically improve regular HD video and also does great with old black and white programming.I bought from Video Audio Center because their ad said much more than other ads about what I should do if I received a TV with problems. It made me feel they were interested in my having a good experience even if problems occurred along the way. I had NO problems though! They cut a shipping label less than an hour after I ordered on a Saturday afternoon. It shipped the following Monday and was here in Texas from California by Thursday. No shipping damage and all parts present and accounted far. Mounting the legs was easy and it set atop my old TV chest until I could find a proper wall mount.I returned the first wall mount bracket because it was too heavy, had poor instructions. missing parts, but mostly because when mounted, the bracket covered most of the I/O ports. Then I found this: FORGING MOUNT FM9381-B TV Wall Mount Bracket, a perfect mate for my new Bravia 55". It was half the weight and price, twice the quality, had very good instructions and no missing parts. It was very easy to install and fits perfectly, allowing access to all ports . It spreads the weight over 2 studs instead of one and has very smooth, well functioning adjustments for vertical tilt, rotation/swivel, telescoping and side to side leveling. It has plenty of "heft" for much heavier TV's than mine. (speced at 132 pounds) and is almost like a custom fit. The quality is at or above most brackets 3 to 4 times the price. FYI, I left the legs on the TV until we lifted the TV 68" above the floor to the wall bracket connection point and tightened it into place. The TV was easier to grip with the legs on and were easy to remove afterwards.

One of the best TVs out there
Bought this TV to replace a 55" in TV in our Family Room. My wife wanted something larger. I could have easily purchased a low cost "Black Friday special", but wanted something that would look really good. So glad I spent the extra money on this TV. The picture is one of the best that I have seen. Short of moving to OLED for twice the price, I don't think I could find anything better. I ran a simple calibration test program and found the out-of-the-box settings were nearly perfect. If not, the settings are easy to adjust. The only minor complaint I have is the remote control. For a high-end TV, I would expect a back-lite remote. In addition, the shape and placement of the keys, like having the number keys at the very top, make for using the remote very awkward. I know it is also a promotional placement, but I don't want/need a GooglePlay button on my remote. However, the one nice thing about the remote is that it works very well as a universal remote. If you use HDMI-CEC, the TV will sense what device is connected and active and program the remote correctly. So, I can switch between my Tivo, Blu-Ray, and AppleTV and not have to change remotes. For buttons that don't exist on the remote (for example, the Tivo button), a pop up display is available on the TV to "push" the missing button. It is not perfect, but works pretty well.
