Does a fantastic job!
This little dehumidifier is GOLD. I have a daylight basement in my older Seattle home. Sometimes the basement can feel a tad moist compared to the rest of the house. I bought this for a spare bedroom in the downstairs/basement and this little guy does WORK! It’s insanely easy to use-just plug in and hit the power button. In a few days of running all day and night, the little reservoir is FULL of water. Just remove the tray at the back and empty it and you’re good to start over again. It has made a noticeable difference in the moisture level in my small guest bedroom (about 12x10). If the tray gets full the light goes red. The little light on it is not very bright so doesn’t impact anyone’s sleep by being too bright and the fan is very even and fairly quiet. I’ve basically been running this 24/7 for about 4 months and it’s been running like a champ! The price is incredible for the quality, too!

Works great, good price.
I bought this unit for a 150 sq feet room that had problems with humidity. One of the walls would even get damp whenever out humidity was high. After I started using this unit about three months ago the wall has remained dry, and cable connectors left exposed have not rusted, which was one of the problems I had been confronting. I have to empty the tank about once every 3-4 days. The unit is small, looks stylish and it's quiet. The only cons I can think of are that it doesn't turn on automatically after a power failure and that it doesn't have a way to install a hose to empty the water automatically, but given the size and price of the product that's not a big deal.I'm happy with the purchase.

Small Size Big Result
This dehumidifier is much smaller than I expected, it is about the size of a standard school notebook, BUT it does the job quite nicely! I have a basement apartment (which is no bigger than about 550 sqft) and noticed that the air was a little too moist, and I am definitely not trying to host bugs that are attracted to dark/humid areas. I put one in my living space and keep it on 24/7. There is very light fan noise, but it is not a issue at all; honestly, you barely notice it. I only have to empty the take every 1.5 to 2 weeks. I plan to buy two more to keep in my bathroom and bedroom. I'm happy with this purchase.

Really Works Great
My husband and I were a little skeptical about how well this would work considering the price and it's square footage claim. We placed it in a 15'X20' bedroom or about 300 sq ft. Up until this purchase we had been placing a single disposable pellet style dehumidifier in the room and it would fill in about 3 weeks. My husband placed the unit away from the wall on his desk and hit the button. You cannot really hear it running it's that quite, 3 days later I noticed the on/run light was off, low and behold the auto shut off feature works because the water holding tank was completely full. Now that it been running in this room for over 3 weeks, it takes about 5 days for the unto to fill.Bottom line Dehumidifier WORKS.

This is a very chic, white noise paperweight
Got this for my bearded dragon's terrarium because desert lizards need low humidity, but this thing puts more humidity in the air than it takes out somehow... I don't know how they managed to accomplish that but they did it.With this thing in the terrarium, it was a struggle to get the humidity below 50%, that's with this dehydrator and one of those rechargeable desiccant packs meant for gun safes. We routinely emptied the reservoir every couple of days or so and it never got more than half full.We thought the high humidity was due to the fact that the terrarium was close to a window, we live in the deep South, and it has been raining a lot the last few months. The good news is this thing broke after 3 months of use, and then the next day the humidity got to and stayed in the desirable 20 to 30% range on its own.So, just to summarize, it only worked for three months, and actually works better as a bad humidifier than a dehumidifier in the very small, confined space of a 55 gallon tank.It is fairly quiet though, and will fit in pretty small spaces. It looks kind of chic, so if you want a white noise paperweight and don't mind an added bit of humidity on your shelf, sure. This thing is great for a few months. In about three months however, the fan motor is going to go out and start making really annoying noises. Which in theory is still okay cuz you can just disconnect the fan and the light still work or whatever, so you still have your chic paper weight; but honestly you're going to have to break it to get it open and then super glue or tape the housing back together so in my opinion, it's just not worth the trouble.I'm struggling to come up with a single valid use for this item. I don't dislike it, it just doesn't really do anything but eventually get on your nerves, after subjecting your beloved lizard to conditions possibly conducive to respiratory ailments.

Easy to use, good for small rooms
Well, the product works, I can’t say that it doesn’t. I’ve emptied the water tray a few times in the past month. However, the humidity level in my room hasn’t budged. I bought to it help reduce humidity in a 12x12 room, definitely within the specifications of the product but on that aspect it doesn’t seem to help. The humidity levels are still in the high 50s, sometimes 60+. I’d say this would be good for a very small room with not a lot of humidity. I will probably return to find something stronger.
