I don't really know what I'm doing, but the battery seems fine.
I was given an old macbook air by a friend, it had a few problems. The original battery would drop from 70% to zero. The new battery seems to have a decent capacity, though I don't know what the original was like to compare it to anything. See the pic I attached, the estimated run time is 4h30m remaining on 75% charge with light usage. That seems pretty good for a laptop of this era, so I think the battery is close to OEM specs. The only issue I've run in to, is that sometimes after using the laptop heavily, such as watching video, It will refuse to charge the battery. It will run off of AC power and the battery will not discharge further, but it also won't charge. The company proactively sent me a replacement, which I appreciate quite a lot, they really stand behind their product, which I didn't expect for such old stock product. Either way, I don't think the battery is the problem. The new one behaved the same way. I think this is either how the macbook air behaves normally, or something is simply wrong with mine, unrelated to this new battery. As I mentioned before, this laptop was given to me with some problems to begin with, so I'm not sure if this behavior was already normal for the laptop from day one.The battery will say 0% charged when you first plug it in. This initially alarmed me because storing a battery at 0% is detrimental to it's life span. Though, after letting it charge fully, you will notice it jump from 60% to 100%. There seems to be some sort of calibration involved with these batteries and macos, so don't worry about it saying 0%, just leave it plugged in and once it reaches 100%, it will be calibrated and work normally from then on.The battery also seems to operate at a higher temp than my old battery, at around 45 to 50 degrees celsius. Compared to the old one which read around 30-40. Again, I'm comparing the old, very worn out battery, to a new one, so it's possible that the old one was only cooler due to some of the lithium pouches being bad.I don't know what to make of all of this because I don't know what normal behavior is for this laptop and finding this sort of information for a mac product seems impossible. Mac users don't seem to understand very much about their computers to begin with. The best I can do is document my findings and allow you to make your own conclusions based on any additional information you might have on the matter. If only Amazon still allowed comments on reviews, I would be able to update this review with the help of others, but that's not a thing so I'll have to leave you hanging.tldr: pretty sure this battery is good, the laptop I put it in still has issues though, or it's just a Mac and those are actually features. Customer support is also nice.

... this battery in my 2012 Macbook Air was quite easy, given the tools included with the purchase
Installing this battery in my 2012 Macbook Air was quite easy, given the tools included with the purchase. It took maybe 10 minutes to install. I followed the discharge/recharge instructions carefully after installation. It has only been a few weeks but my battery life is like new again. Definitely gives my aging Macbook Air a new lease on life. Highly recommend if you still have your original battery.I use my Macbook Air pretty much daily, taking it to meetings at work during the day, and at home after hours. The true test will be at 6 months and 1 year, whether it still holds a charge like it does now. I'll post an update down the road after I have more experience. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase of the BRTONG battery.

Good price, fits right
For 2014 MacBook Air. Installation was easy, performs as expected. Nice way to extend the life of an older laptop. Included tools were cheap, but considering most users will only perform one battery swap during a laptop lifespan, cheap tools were just enough. My only disappointment is we don’t have a good battery recycle program for all the LiPo batteries in devices.

Laptop like new
I installed this battery and have been using it for 3 days now. My laptop battery is like new. I don't have to buy a new laptop since the battery is working just fine. The battery was at 70% when it was delivered. I had a hard time discharging the battery down to 2% at first. It took me hrs watching videos and volume on high. After the first charge, the battery is up to specs just like the Apple factory battery. I will highly recommend this battery to anyone.

Works perfectly in Mid 2012 13" Macbook Air
Came with screwdrivers needed to open the 13.3" A1466 Macbook Air. Installation was easy. Macbook instantly recognized it as a fully charged battery. My wife loves this laptop. I hope this gives her a few more years with it.

Beware!!! Battery expanded the course of the year!
I installed this back in March of 2019 in my personal 2013 Macbook Air and was pretty satisfied with the product. Battery life was decent, like 5-6 hours and I didn't use my MBA away from the plug too often since my primary laptop is a work laptop. It was more for weekend trips, etc. After 6 months or so, I noticed the battery was not lasting as long, and then probably at the year mark, it would shut off randomly when away from a plug every 15 minutes. This turned into every minute as of month 13 or so.I was hopeful it would last more than a year, and I was deciding if I should buy a new laptop or a new battery. I decided to go for a new battery. I decided to buy a different brand, one with a 2 year warranty instead of 1 (like this one), and when I was unscrewing the back of my laptop, it flung open as the screws became loose, which was quite a surprise. When I pulled the battery out, I noticed that one of the cells had expanded! I generally keep my laptop plugged in, and probably only took it off the charger at most 20 times during the year. It seems like it I kept trying to use my laptop perhaps this would have expanded more and exploded! While the first year was fine for hte most part, I have to give this 1 star overall for safety!EDIT -- 3/4/2021The sellers have contacted me (several times) and told me they have switched manufacturers so this should no longer be an issue. I can't say for certain since I did not receive a replacement, but they offered me a full refund if I deleted my review. I don't think this is a good business practice and want to be fully transparent. Perhaps they did change manufacturers but I have no way to know this for sure, and I would rather keep this review here.

It is ok, but give just 3 or 4 hour tops of battery life.
Not even close to Apple's original battery specs. Maybe 3 hours tops and the battery is dead.
