Casual Pet Products Lounger, X-Large, Light Blue 43 x 9 x 28 inches

Great bed. We have an old-timer who likes to frantically scratch at his bed before lying down, & has also very recently lost his once-perfect bladder control. The previous dog bed we bought had to be THROWN AWAY THE DAY WE OPENED IT because he tore it to pieces & peed on it. This one is MUCH BETTER. It can tolerate a lot of scratching. However, you WILL see little tiny puffs of white fabric all over your house -- and in our dog's case, on his nose, as he has bad eyesight too but a big appetite & has to sniff every white puff he finds to see if it is food! Anyway, the best thing about this bed is that you can throw the case in the washing machine when & if it needs it, thus saving the bed & prolonging its life. (On the other hand, once my wife washed & dried it, she couldn't quite ever get it back on right because it was so tight -- and our dog has made it look even wackier with his scratching!) Still it's a good price for a good purchase.

I’m not bellyaching too much, because at the time of purchasing the mini bed was only 7 bucks as an add on item. But the other sizes currently cost just as much as a much better brand (search Orthopedic Nesting Cuddle Pet Bed w/ Teflon Fabric Protector). For this one, the fabric doesn’t fit right to the bed and it’s not the fleece material that is shown in the photo. Again, For 7 bucks, I’m really happy, but barely anyone’s dog will fit in the mini one, so most people reading this review are looking at paying 25+ bucks.

My small dachshunds love this bed! It is large enough for them to lie in it together with room to spare, or lots of room for one to stretch out all the way. I use to buy small beds for small dogs, but mine, at least, like to be snuggley with a blanket and the room a large bed allows. This one does all. It is light enough to move around, and with the removable cover, easy to keep fresh and clean. I also placed a regular size bed pillow in it just to give it a little more cushioning. I will order this bed again when I need another.

I purchased this dog bed around Christmas 2015. It's now April 25, 2016, and this dog bed has not held up well at all. I never return things,but Ilooked to see if I could return it, and apparently the policy is that I can't. The stitching is coming apart in a couple of places, and the styrofoam is thin and cheap. I was trying to replace a dog bed I'd had for years that looked like this one, but the one I had was great! It lasted a very long time, the styrofoam was thicker and nicer and held it's shape, unlike this one. The furry liner could be taken out, cleaned and stretched around the styrofoam again, and my dog slept in it happily. She won't even sleep in this one anymore. She started out using it, and now she goes and sleeps on the couch!I would NOT recommend this cheap dog bed.By the way, I looked for awhile, and would have paid more for a better quality bed. I don't know if anyone makes a good quality bed like thisanymore! I will be searching for one.

My beagle loves her new bed and can lay in several different positions with support on it. Perfect size for her and very soft. Its great to have a removable cover, but I have to give the product only four stars because it's surprisingly challenging to put the cover back on after washing it. Also, the cover only goes to the floor and doesn't fully encompass the bed.

The picture with the brown/green cover is my original bed, taken from the bottom. It has a zipper closure and is well constructed. I bought it from a pet store a few years ago. The blue one is the same model but has no bottom covering, and the foam is not flat...it came folded in half in a plastic bag. The blue one also has a toxic odor.So, even though they have the same product # they are not the same product.Casual Pet, how do I get one like my first picture?This item is not usable.

I don't like it much at all. The fleece isn't attached to the foam, so my cats were clawing it up. It's basically a really cheap piece of foam with cheap fleece thrown around it, and not attached at sleeping area. The sides are also too high for my cats. And there's a nasty chemical smell to it.All around poor quality and definitely not worth the money, no matter how low the price goes. It's junk. Cats thought it was a toy to claw up.

My dog has asked me to review this product so that other doggies might benefit from it. She's a 50lb Bullboxer, quite petite. She has the medium size bed and it fits just right for her. It's a little snug but she likes to be curled up tight or rest her head on the edge. Also, the higher walls provide comfort for dogs that may be a bid timid. It's soft and seems super comfy.I'd say if your "medium-sized" dog like to stretch out more. I would go with the large bed.
