As ever you check these things out and think "will it be as good as the vendor says". A more than welcome surprise.The connection via jack plug or bluetooth was easy.The output was quite amazing for such a little speaker. It did NOT suffer from the tinniness associated with other speakers I've had of this size.The base is weighted which is what I expect is part of the technicals for making the speaker deceptive in quality compared with it's size.It's small enough to fit in hand luggage when I went on holiday and the sound more than filled the room.Recommend it --- YESSound Quality -- Brilliant for such a tiny unitConnectivity -- easy by plug or bluetoothCharging -- USB cable by the same dual adapter that charges by HTC phone.

Very good product. Be aware that the 3watt speaker is good to use for small room presentations for .example when used with a lap-top or notebook. It does have its limitations in terms of playing music in a party for example but nevertheless I am very pleased. Sometimes it takes more than one attempt to link with other devices but this can be expected with anything operating wirelessly.

Ordered speaker for my husband for Xmas. Now the seller won't let me return it because more than 14 days have lapsed. It will not work and my husband is upset that will not pair up with his iPad or iPhone. Don't know what to do - Amazon please help. I could not check it was working beforehand and it was wrapped for my husband for Xmas. I gave 1 star as it arrived on time.

OK. It's a neat & stylish little device BUT1. It took me a long fight to get it to communicate with my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 & Samsung Note via bluetooth, but I eventually succeeded.2. Aux Mode. Manufacturer provided adapter with a jack on one end which fitted the headphone speaker socket, and a mini-usb on the other which fitted a socket on the speaker on the other. Couldn't be simpler could it? Nope. No sound.3. As I had already discovered that the speaker didn't charge from the mains as it should, I dug out an old Apple mac connector and plugged it into my PC - charged fine. So I tried every cable connector I possess without joy.4. The instruction booklet is pretty useless (garbled English type) and a few instructions which were given by the speaker appeared to being recited by a Chinese girl who had learnt her English in Germany.So, either (a) I am missing something blindingly obvious or (b) this is a piece of junk if you don't have bluetooth.There are so many positive reviews that perhaps (a) is the more likely, but then there are these positive review factories out there.......EDIT June 2014finally got everything working after abandoning it for a while. Good sound BUT although it plays through the mini-SD well, adjusting the volume via the switches on the device is VERY fiddly. OK if you you are using a phone or tablet and can adjust it through that, I suppose; I wanted a neat small device to play white noise / soothing music throughout the night to help me sleep, not a whole set-up.

Looks very good, neat and compact. Charged it once received, which seemed fine then used twice, it is now not taking a charge and not working. Have contacted Amazon through their email channel as requested last week and have received a new cable today. So far so good and speaker appears to be charging, fingers crossed.

I bought this speaker and have to say it's much better than some of the 1 star reviewers are making out. It synced up quickly and easily with my Windows 8 PC, and also worked perfectly fine after upgrading to Windows 8.1. It works with my iPad and iPhone and also my fiancee's S3, synching up first time with no problems.For it's size the speaker is very clear and I have had no issues with the bass on it, you have to remember it's a tiny speaker which is portable. Of course it isn't going to sound like a Sonos, but you shouldn't be expecting it to either.Recommended if you are looking for a cheap bluetooth speaker with good sound, much better than most of the small speakers that are going about.

Fantasic little speaker.. Bought as present for friend who is travelling light, backpacking.Only thing wrong could do with a small case to protect it.

After first time using it, the charger connector disappeared inside speaker. Micropix customer service is awful took 2 attempts to answer an email to be told I was over the 90 days, it was 111 days but still the first time that was used as only use it when on holiday.
