I was very disappointed in this chap stick. It was oily and after a short time using it the chap stick got grainy.

This is the only lip balm I've found that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It does a great job of moisturizing and the scent is really nice too.

I may be partial to lip balms since I've been making them at home for years. These Are not quite formulated correctly. The coconut oil makes it grainy, and it goes on too thick. It needs a better ratio of beeswax and cocoa butter with less coconut oil so it will apply in a thinner coat and not have granules of coconut oil in it. So the Rose & honey has a nice scent, but the basil lavender - to me, it smells like an old ashtray mixed with stale alcohol It's just bad. I asked three other people what they thought when they smelled it and all said something similar without any prompting - stale cigarettes, that guy that lives on the corner downtown... that's the other responses. So we all know basil and lavender smell nice in herb form, but basil essential oil does not smell nice. So I'd suggest skipping these and waiting for a reformulation!

These are in a 4-pack with two of each scents/flavors and each tube has a seal that will need broken before use. I like that there's a seal so I know which one I started using and it also make it nice if I am splitting the tubes up for gift-baskets or presents.The honey rose scent is divine. It's perfect combination of both smells without being one overly floral and two sickeningly sweet. The scent does linger instead of fading off. If I cup my hands over my mouth and nose the whiff is the scent is much stronger. I like the natural smell and it gives me a little kick of energy throughout the dayThe basil is very light and the lavender scent comes through a lot more. The smell makes me feel calm and generally puts me in a good mood.The tube is pretty standard with a little wheel at the bottom to turn clockwise or counter clockwise to make the formula move up or down. The cap at the top is transparent and makes a very audible click when it's properly sealed.I like how easy this is to apply. There's absolutely no pulling or tugging. The formula is more oily and loose with bumps when it's warm but a little thicker of a consistency if it's kept somewhere cold. It goes on very glossy/shiny but after a little while that shine fades out.I find I don't have to apply this a lot but just a few times in the span of a day. So far one tube is lasting over a month with around daily use. A little bit goes a long way and that I'm pleased. It also works pretty well over other lip stick type products.I think it's great these organic lipbalms work so well being free from petrolatum. These are very affordable for the quality and quantity received. Recommended!

This Sacred Shea Skincare Organic Variety 4PK Natural Moisturizing Lip Balm is seriously the best lip balm ever.These look like a regular chapstick and they twist up from the bottom. That's where the similarities end. This balm literally melts into your lips the minute it touches them. No pulling or tugging on your lips. Your lips instantly feel soft and moisturized. It's just wonderful.You get 4 lip balms - 2 in the honey rose flavor and 2 in the lavender basil flavor. I like both very much. The honey rose really does smell and taste like honey and roses. The lavender basil smells and tastes mostly like lavender with only the faintest hint of basil. Both are marvelous at softening and protecting your lips.This product uses shea butter and contains no petrolatum.It is possible that these will become melty in the summer heat because they melt onto your lips from the body heat. Currently, we have had temps in the 80s and they have not melted, although I haven't left one in the window of my car. I will likely keep these in the fridge in the summertime against that possibility.

This is a great pack at a great price. Foremost, know that this organic shea is a product to feel good about using. I would not hesitate to give this to a tween or young adult. (And, I, myself, really like this set!)Now, do know that the lavender basil version is just a little soft. It would be great in a small tin, but it can be used as-is if you keep the product very lower in tube when applying it. It's an usual fragrance/taste, but I really, really like it.The rose version is sturdier and of a more traditional density. The fragrance/taste is subtle but still nice.In both cases, these will leave your lips feeling moisturized and soft. And, that is especially important in these harsh winter months.Buy these if you love organic products! They are pretty great! Recommended!

These two highly scented and flavored Shea butter lip balms are somewhat overwhelming. I am reminded of the Dr. Pepper flavored Lip Smackers of my youth.The Shea butter formula feels soft and comforting on the lips and is moisturizing.The Rose Honey flavor is my favorite of the two. I find it to be more food-cosmetic-like than the Lavender Basil flavor which I find to be too pungent on my lips and directly under my nose.The fragrances are strong but natural and seem to be of high quality.

Having a natural lip balm option is fantastic and it rates high just because of that.With the lavender/basil the lavender comes through strong with under notes of the basil. The scent is ok with me, but I could see where it may be a little too much for some.With the honey/rose the rose comes through as the dominant scent, but it's no gurly so a man could use it.The texture of this one was a bit grainy. It wasn't smooth like the lavender one.Both of them are very soft when applying, not like a chapstick. When we tried these, we each got small pieces of the lipbalm that came off on our lips. I think it will just be a learning curve not to apply as much pressure as we are used to.
