Kayak Fisherman’s Best Friend
I have gone through four or five clips in the past, usually because they bend over time or I lose them. This clip system is not only the most durable I’ve used, but the tethering system is fantastic. The clips are super easy to use, even with gloves on, and the lanyard is incredibly strong. I keep the clip under my seat and the lanyard attached to my Hobie ProAngler Kayak. I have had 3 spring chinooks on this in steady current for multiple hours. Its trustworthy, high quality and looks premium.

Too lightweight for saltwater fishing.
I purchased this for kayak fishing in California. First trip out with it was a banner day and I loaded the stringer with rockfish. It was too weak to handle more than maybe 3-4lbs of fish without flexing and opening when you picked it up. I almost lost most of my fish that day due to the stringer repeatedly opening on it's own. The leash is good quality and it'd be good for freshwater use, but I would not recommend it for ocean fishing.

Perfect and easy to handle for kayak fishing!
Perfect for kayak fishing. The leash is an added bonus. It works two fold. One part short nylon webbing and clip for use while you are paddling. It keeps your catch close to the boat for less drag. Two, unclip the nylon and a second coiled leash allows for your catch to be fully submerged and out of the way. It appeared that it will hold up over time and made of quality materials. At this point it’s only been used once but worked very well.

This unit is strong it can handle large fish
I have a 12ft zodiac and limited space for passengers and equipment. It's hard to land a fish and move around. I watch youtube looking at fishing tips, I saw kayakers using this so I tried it . You can string the fish and drag it on the side of you boat. Please watch out for the seals.

Perfect for kayak fishing
Overall I really like the quality of this item...except I wish that the clip is little thicker metal. I’ll be using this to secure 10lb to 40+lb salmon/halibut so heavy duty is a must. I’ll do follow up review once I test it in the water...and I liked it enough to purchase another one in blue color.

Stitching failed, Lost stringer
Stitching on lanyard came un done during first use and the metal portion was lost on the first dive. So now I have half of an overpriced lanyard and no stringer

Get what you pay for.
Great deal for the price! However, you get what you pay for. The stringer is made in China and comes un-done easily. Not recommended for 15lbs+ fish.

Could be stronger
Doesn't give too much tension in the ring. I'll be afraid if I had a lot of fish in this.
