I figured that the case alone would be worth the price, and if the tools were junk so be it. I was wrong. The case IS worth the price, but each of the included items is of a higher quality than I'd have expected. The compass, while not a tactical, is good enough for anyone who's ever had to navigate topo maps with one. The tactical flashlight is much more robust than expected and uses ONE AA battery. I really LIKE everything in this kit. How they can offer this at such a low price is amazing, but I'm not complaining. If I were putting together a grab and go emergency kit, this is the one I'd design. Great stuff, great price. I had one small issue with a defective part, but they replaced it without complaint and very quickly. So customer service is great, too.

Planning a North Carolina Appalachian Trail excursion this summer and a friend suggested looking into a compact survival kit that can be kept in my vehicle and easily stowed in camping gear. I found this "multi tool" combo at a reasonable price and considered it a prudent "insurance policy" to have in the mountains on the road or on the trail. The kit has the essentials for cutting, lighting, burning,signaling and directing. And the storage pouch is of substantial quality-easy to open and put the items back in! Hope I never need it and it's cool to show my grandchildren my survival skills!

At first I was hesitant because I assumed price correlated to quality. But, once I received the package and saw how useful these tos are and the quality they are produced with, I would recommend this to everyone. Almost instantly did the pocket knife come in handy, as did the flashlight. I am a avid hiker and this kit is more than just for emergency basis. There are a lot more practical everyday uses that come in handy. A must have kit to keep in the car/ while hiking/ or simply to keep at home.Great quality!

Gearing up to take the family camping a lot this summer and this was a great purchase to get started! I was pleasantly surprised to find that level of quality for the price (the knife is very very very very sharp by the way). Can't wait to break it out at the campsite but for now it stays in the glove box incase we get lost/run out of gas/or are otherwise in survival mode. Hope Frog Direct puts out some other camping gear!

This Kit has some good basic items, you could use in an emergency. Great to keep in the glove box or someplace handy that you can reach in case you can't get to the trunk or back seat. Good deal for the price.

Like other reviewers, I bought this to keep in my car for trips and emergencies. The pieces seem very useful and thought through for what might be needed. Comes neatly packaged in a canvas camo bag with lots of outer pockets and places to hang things. Excellent tool case for glove compartment or under seat. Highly recommend

Recently I ordered this survival kit, shipping was fast and it came in two days. I recently went to camping trip and this came in very handy. Every thing fits in that amazing looking bag and its definitely worth it. I would recommend this for adventurous tour plus I keep it in the car for my safety.
