Able Motion Adjustable Crutch Knee Rest

Reeling from an amputation, swinging my leg while on crutches, really hurt.I wanted to be more mobile than using a knee scooter or wheel chair.This unit is sturdy and well made. Installation is fast and easy.The learning curve for some, may be a challenge. It took me days to get used to it

This will only fit crutches if the lower leg is extended all the way out. It requires a screw to fit through the crutch leg so if your crutches need to be adjusted to a shorter height it will not work....poorly designed. The photo shows it attached to crutches where the leg is adjusted down, which is why I purchased it, but that is not an accurate photo. The 1 star I gave them is for the ease of return. They did that well.

I am an amputee, and just had breast cancer surgery and had lymphnodes removed from under my left arm. I am unable to use crutches under that arm for a while, so this was the perfect solution for when I am unable to wear my prosthesis. Perfect for cruutching around the house. It was easy to install on crutch, and VERY well made. It is comfortable to rest my leg on the pad provided, and supports me perfectly. I highly recommend this product, and wish I had found it sooner!!

At 70 I was unable to climb or descend stairs using crutches I needed the crutch and he rest to be able to leave my home for doctors appointments and in case of an emergency.

Assembled easy to a crutch. It got me around short distances. Can be a little unstable if your not careful. It was nice to use just one crutch around the house.

I think this is made for either very tall or very small people. At 5'10, I could not find a place on my crutches where this item really helped me walk. At first I thought it was great but I lost my footing and almost fell several times before my husband forced me to remove it and put it back in the box. I would return it if I could but I already used it for a week. It's not really comfortable for someone my height. Very expensive for something I can't use. Decided to get a knee scooter - best thing ever.

This JMS knee cructh rest saved my leg from pain!! I despised my crutches because of the pain I endured in my leg, cructhes are hard to get use to and annoying. This eased the use of having to constantly use my cructhes because I could comfortably rest my leg and not use a lot of energy. As an oler man, having a rest break whenever possible, I could not say greater things. In sum, I recommend this rest over any other!

The concept is good. It makes sense. However, it’s so bulky and heavy that’s it makes being mobile more difficult. The crutches have to be flipped so the knee holder is on the outside when walking which makes going through doorways and around things harder. You cannot use the crutches while it is on the inside because it takes up too much room. The only way to use it is to extend the crutch out so the knee holder is low enough to put your knee on. Maybe if the stand folded down when not in use and maybe if it wasn’t so heavy/bulky it would be better.It’s simple enough to put together but just not usable in our opinion.
