Affordable and works great which isn’t something you get to say much anymore. If it’s affordable usually it’s poorly made but this product is sturdy and well made.

Have done many jobs when flaring was required. This tool worked well and made the flare perfect first try

This tool works well to expand pex piping but can get really stuck so lub the expander tip so it can slip back out also if the tip you need is too big use a smaller one to get the pipe a little more wide then remove and insert your desired size tip and give it a min or so at full expansion before you remove it then don’t delay before you invert your connector as I’ve experienced the pipe to shrink back when I waited too long.

This said is a fair value for the money. The only real problem that I had with it is that the two halves of the tubing holder don't exactly line up, as if the machine is off on them. But with some force, you can get them to line up well enough to do the flaring. And as everyone else has said, the case doesn't really hold the components in place when it's closed without an additional piece of foam.On the positive side, once you get the tubing holder aligned correctly, the flaring tool did a normally good job. I would recommend putting a little bit of lube on the mandrel because the machining lines on it are kind of grippy, wanting to scar the copper.

I'm glad I bought this product. It did the job with ease. Quality is great.

I’m not an AC guy I work on cars. This came with the extra tooling. I was not aware I needed worked extremely well and would definitely recommend this, if you’re gonna install your own AC.
