Not the one you want, unfortunately...
I have a repair shop, so I buy a lot of these-even as gifts. There is a test I do:1. Hold the 'mat' 90 degrees from the flat table, parallel to a wall or door would be.2. Take a small screw, and gently 'throw' it at the mat from a foot or 2 away.3. Does the mat take it? Does it bounce off? Does it slide down a bit and stop? This is how you test these against each other, and with the same screw. The best one in the < $10 rang on Amazon, based on this purely subjective test is this one:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WKXH5B3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1[I didn't want to be like other reviewers and say that there are better out there, but then make things worse by not telling you which ones are actually better.]

Magnetism Could Be Stronger
We'd like to start by saying we had to reorder this product, because we were shipped a damaged empty package the first time around.Once we got it, we felt it was the right size and was easy to use. Our only complaint is that the magnetism is a little on the light side.

Don't do tech work without one
I do service for various kinds of computers that have lots of little screws in them. This mat is a must-have for anyone doing similar work. It holds the screws where you want them on the mat and the marker is a great addition for notating your project parts.

Great for repairs
This is really good for repairs. It's not great because the magnet is not very strong. It only takes minimum effort for the screws to go all over the place. It's good however that you can write on this so you can label the screws as you go along.

Not all hardware is magnetic
The tiny little screws I was first working with apparently had a coating and did not adhere to the pad. I am awaiting the next repair job to see how well the hardware will stick to the pad. I think it us a great idea though and worth the mall amount of money.

Glossy hard surface and weak magnetism, could spell disaster.
I bought this without really looking into it, I thought the lines on the mat were groves, but they're just printed, the magnetic base is ok, but after accidently over spraying with air duster, most the screws blew away. I know some electronics are sensitive to magnetism, but it would be nice if it was a little stronger. Combined with the glossy hard surface, it's hard to have confidence in not losing something off of it.

Works, but poor quality control.
I have to be honest...I bought this, not expecting anything spectacular. Just for something to help me keep screws for electronic projects organized and labeled on the white board. Does this do that...yes. But the quality control was definitely missed. The grid lines are all crooked. Again, it does the job. But if you’re looking for something that has straight boxes to keep your project screws organized, this might not be for you. Who knows, maybe I just got one from a bad batch. Good Luck!

Life Saver
The magnet and the organization on the board are great for organizing screws. Life saver.
