I looked at several blood sugar monitors before deciding on this one. It was a great price as it comes with lancets AND test strips. What made my decision final was the price to repurchase the price of the test strips, which can be very pricey depending on the brand, but are not expensive for this brand. The monitor works great! It was easy to set up. Takes the smallest sample of blood and doesn't bruise my fingers. The results come up very quickly. It's small and can fit in my bag when I need to take it on the go. Additionally, the company was very communicative. I received several emails before and after to make sure I received my monitor and as well as how I can contact them if I was having issues. I'm very pleased with the monitor and the company. I totally recommend!

Ease of operation. It is quite a practical instrument. Only drawback, is the limited number of test strips in the kit, requiring the purchase of additional tests strips to cover a reasonable number of test events, before needing to reorder. Other than that, I am quite pleased with this item, which is also fairly priced.

Easy to follow guide. Comes with so many test strips and needles. Super easy to use. Adjustable length for needle, so pretty much painless. Accurate readings, gives same as blood sugar/A1C reading I get at the Dr. Office. Travel case super convenient. Great price. Highly recommend!

I use to have a Wal-Mart Relion Ultima meter that I loved but they suddenly discontinued it and its strips and replaced it with an awful product that requires huge amounts of blood so I was in the market for a new meter. I have insulin issues but am not diagnosed as diabetic so my insurance pays for none of my supplies. I need an affordable meter that the strips don't cost a fortune. This one is FABULOUS. It came pre-stocked with 50 strips and as many lancets!!! It's also super easy to use after taking a quick look at the instructions and needs only the tiniest drop of blood inside the tip of the strip. The lancing device is not as intuitive as it should be but it came with a very nice one, currently I'm puting new lancets in my old Relion lancer that has stayed with me because of its ease of use however. The packaging says it was suppose to have a logbook but that appears to be missing from the package. Some repackaging seems to have occured because one place on the box says it comes with 100 strips and a sticker over the system contents and the Amazon description says it includes 50, that would be my only complaint about the product is the repackaging job done on it.

It is my first time to test my blood. It is easy to use. There is a setting for puncture depth. At first I used the 2 and 3 setting. It only drew a tiny spot of blood that didn't even register on the machine. I had to start all over with a new needle and test strip. I set it higher. Same results as I gradually upped the setting. Then I figured, what the heck, I will go to the max. Finally, I was able to get a reading. I was being overly cautious because I am new to it.

I being EMS always carry one in my jump kit, the problem I find with these is the strips from one don't fit another, so I end up buying new ones every couple years

Good price, but accuracy on these all these meters, regardless of manufacturer, are 15-20% plus/minus. I wish someone would invent a better meter. Accuracy for diabetes is essential.

I just bought this caretouch blood glucose kit to help with my blood sugar, thats all. There is a ridiculous amount of information they ask customers to fill out when you have an issue. I just bought the device 11/24/23 on amazon. I opened the kit. Used the Easy Touch control solution (just bought 11/21/23 on amazon) to test the test strips and device (brand new) and it fell outside of range on both the low and high. This is the second broken device I have received from this company. I did not realize the first one was broken from the start (i tested it and it explains why my blood sugar readings never made sense) and it has seriously affected my health over this last year. I called customer service to resolve this issue 4 times now. The first time, they said to buy the control solution to “calibrate” it (the first device). Which I now know calibrating is not how the control solution works, so i’m not sure why I was told that. The second and fourth call in I got hung up on and never spoken to. The third call was the one preceding this email, and I was told that I need to go to my doctor to get my blood work done by them first in order to compare to the device? The customer service team needs to read the instructions of the control solution and the device manual. I have actually never been more upset with a company. This all was such a waste of time and I would cannot believe a company can send out faulty medical equipment like this and make it so expensive and difficult to resolve the issue. DO NOT BUY THIS! Use another brand!!! Save yourself time and effort.
