This beard oil has the same scent as other elements of the AOS sandalwood line. That's a good thing, as it provides a traditional masculine scent with decent projection and sillage. It's also a little thinner and less greasy than the sandalwood pre-shave oil, which is a great thing for all-day wear, especially with finer beards like mine.The bottle has a very narrow opening, which keeps the oil from coming out too fast. That's mostly a good thing. On the other hand, the smallness of the opening means you sometimes have to shake the bottle vigorously to get a sufficient amount of product to work into your beard. That's more of a minor annoyance than a problem, though, as a pump or wider-mouthed bottle would probably waste a lot of product for a dubious level of convenience.AOS currently only carries beard oil in sandalwood and unscented. If you want an oud product, you'll need to branch out to other brands that may have conflicting rather than complementary scents. I currently recommend the Tom Ford oud-scented beard oil for use with AOS oud products, but while excellent on its own I keep hoping to find something that's a closer match to the AOS scent line.To summarize, this is a great product and a great scent. The only potential negatives are the limited scent options and the extra exercise needed to extract larger amounts of product. Definitely worth adding to your AOS regimen!

Has a good scent and makes the beard soft, my lady definitely approves

Makes beard feel soft for sure. It is moisturizing but I may have added too much because it still feels a little greasy. The scent is that old style soapy sandalwood- think Caswell Masseys Sandalwood cologne, or bee and flower sandalwood. I'm not particularly a fan of that kind of sandalwood scent mostly because I prefer the straight note of sandalwood.

I got this to try out after reading others sucking highly of it in order product reviews. It wasn’t my favorite, unfortunately. The oil was just kind of sticky, and I don’t feel like it was much different than any of the other cheaper oils I’ve bought. For now, I’ll be sticking with the Jack Black beard oil.

Fantastic for softening the beard and relieving the itchiness of a growing beard. I have had a small acne breakout since starting to use it and have had to cut back on how liberally I apply the oil.
