Alabaster Hand Made Candle Lamp 6 inches

I purchased a dozen alabaster vases for an upcoming church event, and I am very pleased with this product. There are no two alike because they are each cut from a different stone. I placed a battery tea light inside and they are beautifully translucent. They are all slightly different in size and shape, but all are perfectly made.

Mine arrived with a little piece chipped off. The piece that was separated from the rest was of different color, can't say whether the manufacturers just filled in a different material into a thumbnail size dent or they simply disregarded the grain of the material when they decided where to cut, thus creating a weak spot that looked like a center of an onion on the boundary of the vase. Either way, I should be thankful for helping me decide to return the item, otherwise I would have just been displeased with the fact that the inside of the vase was rough to the touch: they did not bother polishing it at all, can't say either that the polished outside was as smooth as my grandmother's alabaster vase.The vase was a little heavier than what I expected. I am no expert but it is probably good solid alabaster -- felt kinda sorry seeing so much of good material wasted on a quickie job. You should consider buying this vase only if you want to put it in a garden where you want to create a "rustic look" (for that the vase is too small though and the material too precious) or if you have your own tools to finish this study into a well-polished final product. As for myself, I am just thankful to Amazon for refunding my money.

I used this as an example in my Bible Class to show the class what alabaster looks and feels like. It was wonderful being able to touch it and seeing it's beauty especially when a candle is lit inside and the lights are turned off. Great item. Thank you.

Arrived earlier than promised. A big hit for my 37th Anniversary gift for my wife.It is beautiful, especially lit with a votive candle inside.

This vase was a little smaller than I envisioned (even if it tells you the size), but even so, it's one of the most beautiful lamps I've ever seen.

No two of these are identical, neither are my two, and they are not as dark as pictured…However, they are gorgeous ‼️ I put in flicker lights and they just came aglow‼️ truly amazing.Have them in sconces and it has just warmed up the room. I’m thrilled…oops, lastly, they came very well packaged and arrived safely‼️😘
