Slim for Life tips
This book, Slim for Life, is very basis advice. Definitely good for someone that does not have the knowledge of proper eating but if you are pretty saavy on this topic, as I am, it is an okay reminder resource, but nothing mind-blowing or new.

Jillian lays it out!! Great!!
I have this book on Kindle & Audible. I can’t stand a bunch of chatty life stuff....boring...blah, blah, blah. Jillian, is great & gives you everything. She’s honest & encouraging, she tells you how to do it for life. Just started reading/listening to this one & I’ve lost 7lbs in a week without feeling deprived or depressed. Highly Recommend this!

I love Jillian Michaels so much that...
...I imagine that she is behind me, screaming, every time I exercise. I remember the time she yelled at Danni (on the white team) incessantly, while managing to look cool and fit in a baseball cap and sunglasses. I imagine THAT Jillian. I also imagine her while I read her books. If I feel like, if the words on the pages are shouting at me, I'll pay better attention. Unfortunately this book yelled a similar message that other Jillian Michaels books have in the past. I think that it's a good read for people who really struggle with understanding how to prioritize weight loss strategies (people new to exercising). However, I'm a avidly active and fit person who didn't gain any new knowledge from this particular book. Sorry, Jillian! Please don't yell :)

I love honesty and I feel Jillian is honest. I identify well with the language, bluntness, and overall way the book is written. It works well to motivate me.

Didn’t help me. There’s no “new” information in this book. Eat less, exercise more - don’t waste your time reading this book.

AMAZING
I have purchased this in a hardcover and kindle edition because I loved the book so much. I have recently lost 105 pounds and one would think I have been doing everything right, but this book gave me more direction and has kept me from plateauing. I have 25 lbs left to lose and just by incorporating some of Jillian's tips my weekly weight-loss has increased. Jillian's track record on the Biggest Loser proves she knows what she is talking about. This book is easy to understand and read; I couldn't put it down the first time through. I refer back to it as a reference all the time. Even if you are well into your healthy routine you stand to learn something from this book. It is the perfect go to for health and fitness. I love the myths she debunks too.

Great tips
This is a great book to get your mind in the right frame. Jillian offers useful tips that just about everyone can follow. Her simple motto: Eat less, move more. It really is common sense but sometimes you just need to see it in print. She offers a healthy approach to eating better and offers suggestions for some foods that people still want to eat (like candy and chips). I've completely changed my outlook on food and use her suggestions and tips to eat better.

Myth slamming, practical and thought provoking.
Liked facts, writing style and practical advice. Didn't like detailed exercise descriptions (need to look them up to get it), and that the book hasn't been edited for the UK market, meaning lots of references either aren't relevant, helpful or recognisable (such as product and people references). Still really enjoyed the book however, and certainly feel there are life changers which will help me enhance my lifestyle for the long term.

Good interesting tips of advice from Jillian. Jillian also busts a lot of diet and fitness myths in this book. Worth a read.
