Portable chargers are massive lifesavers when you are not close to a charging point and your phone battery is low, especially when out and about.As someone who travels a lot, I find my phone battery gets low very regularly so a portable charger is required a lot of the time until I can make it to a charging point.As you go travelling in a group, it makes sense to get multiple power banks as you never know when someone will need one.This portable charger has a capacity of 5000mAh which will fully charge most phones at least once. My phone capacity is 3200mAh so it will completely charge it once and have some residual charge left to get it to at least 50%.The lights indicate how much power is left. As there are 4 lights, I'd take each one to be representing 1250mAh. It's a great way to tell the remaining charge in the power bank and gives a hint on when it needs to be recharged.It is a nice, smooth design with the brand name indented into it. It is very light and can easily fit into pockets without taking up much room.It comes with a carry case as well as a micro-usb wire. (Personally, I found the wire too small for my use so I generally use my own cables as I always do)With the capacity of 5000mAh, it meets my needs for short trips but I don't think it would be best for long haul trips!No quick charge function with this power bank but still does the job.If this was helpful, please tap that helpful button below - Cheers!

I was initially quite disappointed with this device when it arrived. It didn’t work as advertised, as it wasn’t holding a "full charge", and wouldn't provide enough charge for a single iPhone for a 2 hour journey. I was frustrated, and sent it back to Amazon for a refund (and got one) and left a 2-star rating!However, PowerAdd (the manufacturer) then contacted me and very kindly sent me another one (free of charge to test) and have been very proactive in checking whether the new one works as expected. It does.All in all, I was very impressed with their product support, and I would recommend contacting them direct (albeit through Amazon) if you have any issues.Well done to PowerAdd!

I really like how light and small the poweradd battery pack is. It fits in my smallest going out bag along with my purse and my phone. It also comes with a nice slightly spongy net drawstring bag that helps keep the wire and the battery inside and prevents anything getting inside the usb port on the battery pack. It has 4 lights to show you how much power is left on the battery pack. The battery has two ports, one for charging the battery pack and one to charge your phone. I used this when camping and it charged my Samsung galaxy s6 2-2.5 times from 0%. It is also really handy if you are going to the shops or out for the day. A good battery!

Very disappointing, charges once my iphone 6 s plus which has 2750 mAh.I plugged it in for past week when it had only 10% and it charged it fully but after one charge it was drained out already. I don't think this has 5000 mAhI is bit bulky as well.

This portable power unit failed after just a month and a half. It had worked fine initially but just stopped taking a charge. It was barely 7 days outside the Amazon return date, so both from the supplier and Amazon I am left with a defective product and no recourse, which is very unsatisfactory.Update: I then received an email from Poweradd and they quickly and kindly replaced the faulty unit for a new one, which so far (early days) has been working fine and holding a charge well. So, I've upgraded my rating to 4 stars based on the good customer service response and the unit performance so far. Will see over time what happens but hoping it continues to work well.

This is perfect for our and about and on your travels its reasonably light weight and small fits in to your pocket or bag. Comes with easy to read instructions. Full charge before use. The battery life is very good for how small it is. It is great quality and excellent value a traveller's must have its perfect. Looks stylish aswell. Very easy to set up and use . Well recommended it your always running out of life on your phone, ipod, mp4 etc

I purchased a compact power bank as it is easier for me to carry around in my small bag or handbag. This is great as it is compact and discreet and also comes with a small useful pouch to store and protect it.What I like most about it, is that it charges quickly and is quite powerful and lasts a few days before I have to recharge it, I also like the shape. It is very lightweight, you can also put it in your small pocket. Great when you are going out.
