Poison spyder is top of the line Jeep gear!
Not only does this hood louver look badass but it is functional. It allows the high underhood heat to excape instead of sitting in the engine bay just cooking anything rubber from hoses to electrical. Anyone that knows about engines knows that constant heat kills rubber stuff int he engine bay. I've never had my JK overheat on me on the trails or road but on the slow moving to completely stopped trails I could always feel a lot of heat just pouring out of the fenderwells. Now it can just go up through the top and keep the engine bay temps much cooler. Also the template they send with this is is VERY good and VERY clear instructions on it. Read everything twice and measure several times because if you cut wrong you're gonna screw up your hood. So take your time and do it right and it'll look incredible when finished.

Great Addition To My Jeep !!!
Simply love my Poison Spider Hood Louver. Let's out a ton of heat and looks really cool in the process. My installation was quite easy. For those who had trouble, try this next time. After marking out the template with a Sharpie (black on my silver hood, silver on my brothers black one), I used one 3/4" hole saw to take out the corners of each cutout area. Then used a 7" metal cutoff blade in my Skil saw, set at about 1/8" depth and easily cut out the 4 sections. A little painters tape on the bottom surface of the saw takes care of any scratch worries. Align the louver, drill and install bolts one at a time starting at one top corner, working to the other top corner and then down the sides. All of my holes lined up and there are no ripples around the hood or louver. An enhancement I highly recommend is to put a piece of red reflective tape on the hood underneath the Spider cutout, especially on those black jeeps...

Great customer service!
When my louvre arrived at home, the box was pretty tattered. Upon inspection, the louvre was okay. However, I was missing my hardware to bolt it down to my hood. One quick email and they were all over it and sent me some replacement hardware no questions asked. Really great customer service. I love the look and function of this louvre. Recommend this seller. A+++

Great!
Genuine Poison Spyder hood louver. Awesome quality and fits awesome on the Jeep. Make sure you know your exact model and year or it won’t fit. Not too hard to put on, on your own, but I do recommend having it professionally done if you are going to cut the hood.

price sucks but looks good and functions
Gonna give 4 stars, minus one star for the pricing and crappy stainless steel hardware that comes with it. Snapped 3 bolts tightening the hardware. If your not goot with fabrication then don't buy this, requires the butchering of your hood. If you do the install with your hood on your JK make sure you put a piece of plywood over your engine compartment so you don't puncture a hole on your engine components. Pros: looks really good and actually functions phenomenal. Can see the heat rising from the vents. Cons: price. The install time takes a while because you need precise cutting of depth as to not cut through the cross member under the hood. Crappy hardware. *BIG CON* My entire hood has hairline scratches from the metal shavings/ dust flying everywhere. Probably gonna need to repaint my hood...minus well linex my whole Jeep now since most of it is already textured black. Completely tape off all painted surfaces securely!!!

Good finish, no hardware.
Factory finish looks good. There is a couple shipping bruises, but it’s going on a rubicon. Only major issue was no hardware and I didn’t find out until the hood was off and cut. So a trip to Lowe’s and $20 bucks later for stainless hardware, all was well.

But I absolutely love this PSC Hood Louver
It's rare, extremely rare that I take the time to write a review for something. But I absolutely love this PSC Hood Louver. My install time took much longer than normal, due to thinking I had the right tools and having to make a couple runs to the store when I realized that I didn't. On top of the fact that I thought I could get this done with a cordless drill, but after eating through 4 batteries and still not having all the holes drilled, I bit the bullet and decided to go get a real drill. I'm also slightly OCD when it comes to stuff like this, so although everything that's being done underneath this hood louver will never be seen, I had to make sure it was up to my liking anyway. While nobody else will ever see it, I'd still know... I'd still know... So I'm going to go ahead and upload a couple of the prep photos along with this review as well as the finished version, so that people can see just what they've got in store for them. You'll see that I masked and painted the entire area around the cuts, instead of only touching up the bare metal itself.. This is completely not necessary, I just preferred to paint the area, over having ugly touch up lines everywhere lol. In my opinion though, this louver is well worth it. I absolutely love it. It's pretty cool to sit at a stoplight and watch the heat from the engine rise up out of it too.

Junk Hardware
The plate itself is great. The coating seems tough enough. The hardware sent with it though, it’s complete garbage. It is absolutely not stainless steel and the nylock nuts are a joke. The nylon insert came out of most of them before they were half way threaded on. The bolts themselves stripped out so easily. I had to drill five of them out. The amount of damage done to the plate and my hood during that process is unforgivable. I will never buy from this seller or company ever and I recommend other steer clear. What a disappointment. And now I need to get the paint repaired on my hood.
