This book is a bargain. Dr. Cerfolio wrote about his process to be successful as a student, athlete, parent, husband, and Surgeon.The book reads quick, I will probably read it again as there are many pearls of wisdom that can always be reinforced.Many people from all walks of life could benefit from reading this book even if they only implemented a small amount of his process.In summary to be successful set goals, measure your progress, self discipline, take care of yourself, do something with your life you have a passion for, understand and manage your emotions, and a few other things I am sure I am not remembering right at this moment.As I said at the beginning of this review the book is a bargain. Why? Because for less than $20 you can get the inside thoughts of a man who has enjoyed more success than 99% of the population.

"Super Performing At Work and At Home" is a wonderful book. I think everyone should read it especially young people. It is such a motivational piece of art.Dr. Cerfolio is a magnificent surgeon and writer. He actually did surgery on my son in 1999 at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL, I knew then he was super. I do not know how Dr, Cerfolio does all he does.He is the BEST!!!!It was such a joy to learn about his book. I HIGHLY recommend it. Great read for younger generation. Good read for older generation, insightful. Outstanding doctor who creates the basis for an excellent staff. Feel fortunate that he took the time to write this book.

I had to have surgery and Dr Cerfolio was my doctor so I thought I would brush up on a bit of his story.He is quite interesting - a little too sports oriented for my taste but it proves his determination to be successful and the best in anything he does. I had a very successful surgery so glad I found him

Cerfolio is the best! Awesome book by an incredible man and surgeon. I loved his life stories and it's inspiring to read all that he as done and continues to do. I recommend this to anyone looking to be inspired, searching for a purpose, and wanting to improved.

Reading this book offers an intimate look into the life of a supremely talented doctor. Dr. Cerfolio shares the most private moments of his work life as well as his private life while motivating the reader to strive for super performance. I highly recommend this book to young people on the edge of their tomorrows.

Wonderful advice and insight from thoracic surgeon,Dr. Cerfolio. I have taken care of his patients for almost two years now and witnessed many of the personal ups and downs he's faced. Getting to read a personal account on how he is balancing life, while juggling time with his boys, busy OR schedule, research, teaching, etc., makes me a have a greater appreciation for all he does. He is an excellent example both in the OR and in life. Making mistakes is an inevitable part of life and the practice of medicine. Recovering, regaining confidence, and adapting quickly to changes can help anyone with their performance in life and the workplace.

Very nice book. Being a vascular resident and raised by a cardiothoracic surgeon it mirrored many principles I was brought up on. Impressive surgeon and the advice offered in the book is can be applied and improve ones practice.
