Not much meat on the bone...
This book was, like another of Mancini's books, Conducting Tours, both simple and simplistic. It was wide, but not very deep. If you've never been on a cruise it provides good descriptions, but only the last few chapters attempt to give practical information about selling cruises. The books by Kelly Monaghan are much more useful for the beginning agent.

Significantly lowerer than the college bookstore. This is the textbookfor CLIA and offers a good overview of the Cruiseline Industry. Do not expect a detailed or in depth analysis.

To old
Comprehensive, to old in such a dynamic fieldThis industry develops very quickly and a book like this is now outdated. For example talking about the megaships being 100 000 ton -that today are medium-ships.The megaships being 180 000- 225 000 ton!The book is almost of historical interest , thus to see how quickly the industry develops.

Very 'freindly' written book
I've enjoined reading this book, mainly due to its freindly-written style. This book certainly offers a welcoming catalysis for everyone who is interested in extending knowledge of cruising industry.Certainly recommended!Dr. Hillel Avihai
