I do a lot of wiring and good side cutters are indispensable. These are good ones. I use them to cut a lot of copper electrical wire and they give a clean cut with ease. As big as they are, the head is small enough to fit into tight quarters. The long handles give you leverage to cut thick wire and the jaws are strong enough to handle whatever you stick into them. Handy and useful on the job and made to last years.

I find these a great addition to my tool kit. As with any Channelock tool, these are high quality and made in America. What impresses me even more is that the price is relatively low for such a high quality tool. There are better in professional lines for a whole lot more money, but Channellock has got the most bang for the buck. The cutting edge is sharp and well tempered. These can easily cut 12 gauge fence wire. The handles are comfortable and coated. The operation is very smooth.
