SPB7-20TXN Blender Blade Driver Clutch Coupling Replacement Parts for Cuisinart

Our old Cuisinart blender is back in action, thanks to this part. It was tricky to figure out how to remove the old part, since it uses a backwards-thread and there was no good way to hold it still in order to unscrew it. But following a YouTuber's advice, we used a long flathead screwdriver and whacked it with a hammer and the part unscrewed with no problem. The new part went on with no effort at all, and we were back in business.If you're ever in the neighborhood, we'll make a bang-up blended margarita for you :)

You need to remove the bottom of the blender (three screws) to hold the shaft while you remove the old part. There are very good videos on YouTube to dp lain that. Note the reverse threading, too. Clockwise=loose.Very pleased to buy two units at the price near one factory brand. Now zi hav a spare for a part that is considered a wear part.
