i just got it delivered to my home in San Francisco.Being originally from Spain, i can recognize the aroma of the real organic saffron from Aragon, from other types.This Saffron is so fresh and aromatic. it powers the taste of all the mealsYou can feel the strong aroma just after open the box.

I'm eating these because there are reputable studies showing that a pinch of these daily will reduce one's chances of developing macular degeneration (which is common in us old folks and prevents us from seeing what's straight ahead of us). I can't say yet if they work, because I've only been eating them for a week, but they're inexpensive and convenient to eat, so there seems to be a big upside and a tiny downside!

Worked beautifully. I opened the plastic container with a knife and transferred the saffron into a mini glass Mason jar. Used it last night for my paella and it was delicious.

I've never ordered spices online, but this saffron was very fragrant. The color of the rice came out beautiful- I will order again.

This is a good quality saffron, the stamen were not overly dry and it gave great color and flavor.
