Essential Cane Habanero Flavored Cane Sugar, 5-Ounce Jars (Pack of 3)

This sugar is made of up organic cane sugar and habanero pepper. It has an amazingly perfect balance of sweet and spice - it does have a kick. It also keeps that wonderful balance when baked. I am trying to cut back on sugar, and thought using a higher quality product would work. I use small amounts of organic sugar in my baked products, but sprinkle this over the top just before baking. Wow! That absolutely does the trick. In things like breakfast muffins (make with bananas and dried fruit) as well as banana bread, I can put 1/3 to 1/4 of the sugar called for in the recipe and with this product sprinkled on top I still get all the yummy sweetness that I want. Want to use less sugar in cookies - yes, again you have a winner. I am actually looking forward to trying in some stir fry (with a homemade sweet and sour sauce).If you are on the fence, give this product a try. It has a date of 5/2016 on the package if that is any indication of freshness (I never really looked at sugar as a product that could expire). The sugar crystals are a nice size (not huge chunks, but you can see each crystal) which makes it nice for a fancy showing. A little also goes a long way!

This is just what I was looking for, something sweet and spicy! Be careful with your first test batch, this stuff is hot. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is the price is quite high.

This stuff makes an amazing spicy margarita! I’ve tried over a dozen other products to make my margaritas spicy and nothing can top this! A must buy for those looking to make a spicy margarita!!!

Hands down THE best flavored sugar I've ever tried. Except for maybe Penzeys vanilla sugar this is our absolute fave-love it on berries, smoked pork shoulder, hot cocoa...amazeballs.

This stuff is great in coffee and margaritas! It's "Hot" but sweet. I can't find a better price for this quality. My whole family uses this stuff now.

Adds a unique heat to whatever. Great combo of sweet and spicy. A friend of mine made strawberry jelly doughnuts with this sugar...they were amazing!

This stuff is great! It puts a nice "bite" into foods that are normally boring. I especially like to dip strawberries in it.
