They taste good but they are sweet with a hint of pickle flavor.

Exactly as it says pickle flavored soda.Some of the reviews I've read here were less than helpful, everyone's tastes are different and all, but not describing your experience with the taste and evolution for a food product is semi-useless as a review, so here's my tasting notes.Please keep in mind, it is soda, so it's not going to taste like pickle vinegar.First taste is pretty mild and smooth virtually nothing there.As it settles on your tongue, the carbonation combined with the slow evolution, gives it a whisper of a hint of sour-ish taste reminiscent of a very sweet pickle.The after taste is similar to the after taste of again a very sweet pickle.The smell is probably the most pickle part of the whole experience.It smells much more like what you would expect a jar of sweet dill pickles to smell like.I bought it for my girlfriend, who likes pickles, she enjoyed it, but prefers real pickles and doesn't drink soda much anyway.I myself enjoyed it more than she did but I also go way out of my way to eat and drink things I haven't had before.As a gift, it has a lot of novelty and is all in all a pretty fun and interesting drink.
