Into the Gauntlet (The 39 Clues, Book 10) Hardcover – CD, August 31, 2010

My kids loved this book series and I was borrowing the CDs from the library for them to listen to as well. They are so popular that my kids have probably listened to one of the CDs EVERY day for over a year. My kids are ages 6-11, and they still put in a disk to listen to a story during breakfast/lunch each day. It's not just a person reading the story. The readers use different voices for all the characters, and they also use sound effects in the recordings as well. I wish there were more CDs available than like the first 25-30 stories.

Cute story I just wish it had three books in one like some of the others.Makes my kids happy to fall asleep listening to these stories

All of the Geronimo Stilton CD's are fabulous for young and old alike to share in any car journey or at home. Great story line, majority of readers are wonderfully animated and creates absolute silence during any journey. Ah to be young again and enjoy the healthy fantasy of an animated world where you learn about the world, people and the life skills of getting along with each oher and being happy!

My grandson loves this book it's great while riding in the car.

Love the Stilton books, but be careful if you liked the original reader on the books on cd versions as we did... We much prefer the narration of Edward Herrmann to Bill Lobely. Sorry, but our kids have read all the books and listened to all the previously available cd's for the Geronimo Stilton series.Mr. Herrmann really set a high standard, so check out those other Geronimo Stilton books on cd instead.

We totally agree that the original narrator, Edward Herrmann, is much better than Bill Lobely. I didn't realize that the narrator had changed with these books. Bill Loebely is a very good narrator, but having gotten used to Edward Herrman, the kids were extremely disappointed in this audio set.
