TIPS: 1.) Clean the stamps using a brush and soapy water before using. 2.) Place the stamp on the soap then lightly tap stamp with a "Rubber Hammer" 3 to 5 times. A Rubber Hammer works great for soap stamping, it gives you a nice, clean and sharp impression. You can always put the stamp right back to the mark to adjust the deep or uneven. You don't need to stamp too deep, about 1/8 inch is plenty. 3) Use a toothbrush to scrub out any soap bits. 4.) After use, clean the stamps using a brush and water. Dry thoroughly before storing. PS: Depending upon the formulation of your soap, the soap may be ready for stamping after it's cutted 3-5 hours. Softer soaps may require a few days of aging. Typically you’ll stamp within 48 hours cutting it. The soap should not stick to the stamp; if it does, the soap needs to harden a bit. In contrast, the soap should not break after stamping, if it does, the soap is already too hard, cut the surface off (3mm) and stamp again.
