You need to place the stretcher into the boots then tighten so they are snug, then place the additional square piece into the correct spot, then tighten more. If stretcher is not sufficiently snug the square piece will slip out of position and you will have to start all over again. It would be a lot easier to have a peg in hole apparatus to allow the square piece to stay in place.

actually its pretty study product and so far i have been able to use it to stretch 4 pairs of shoes. its not as good at stretching them lengthwise but its effective at stretching the width although i would prefer the placement of little attachments differently as you can't place them right next to each other and thus can really only use 1 set of them per shoe. i left them in my shoes for like a week cuz i don't need to wear them and wet the inside (all leather shoes and booties) and days later you've got a much more comfortable shoe. no damage done if you just wet the inside with water and not any specific toxic crap they sell you. water works great with these stretchers!

These are perfect for my heels, and easy to use. I like the added feminine touch of a heart on the handle.They are working well so no complaints here

I don't understand how they work, I will figure out eventually, but there should have been instructions

I needed to get non slip shoes for my job but they only come in standard sizes. If you got fat feet like i do you are out of luck and going to suffer while you work. I got the shoe stretcher in hopes that it would break in my non slip shoes so i wouldn't have to break my feet. It was recommended to let them sit for 24 hours. I let them sit for 2 days. I can wear my shoes with minimal pain which is 100 times better than before where feet would just swell after a full work day. I will use this a few more times to see if i can get even better results. My shoes were not usable before. I wore them one time before widing the shoes and they were just too painful so i avoided wearing them. This helped me from having to waste money on shoes i would rarley or never wear.

The order came without the additional stretch toe inserts and didn’t come with the heel protectors.Honestly - had one not been broken as well, I would have kept them. But I’ll be returning this order.

I didn't expect to get the shoe extender applied to all of my shoes types. it does the job with lower price. I used a wood shoe extender long time ago. It didn't work like this one. I have a kind of flat feet, and my right foot is wider than the left. I have to get 7.5 for pumps usually and 8 for sneakers and boots due to my right foot. I just tested some of my shoes with it as pictures. I read other products reviews and spend a pretty good time for research. I am glad I did to get this product. I feel like I am ready to roll all of my shoes now. If there is any problem with the product, I will update the review. I hope this will help people who have been having discomfort with shoe size like myself.
